“The accommodation itself was great. Lovely and clean. Communication prior to check in was strange as there was a demand for ID to be sent outside of the AirBnB system directly via email. It was only requested the day before travel (and check in info withheld) and was not a requirement for stay by the several other accommodation we had booked. We refused to provide this as AirBnB's terms of service suggest that communication should be held within the website/app. The owner also did not reply when the internet died so we were without internet for a few days while we waited on a response. Otherwise, the accommodation was nice, location was good and we enjoyed the space.”
