“Whole house dirty. Blinds torn. Windows open with men’s underwear hanging out. Couldn’t get in with code 3 times locked out, then they told us about a key. The housekeeper came and took the bugs out the tub and that’s it and said we would have to pay if she came back. Sheets dirty. Floors dirty. Couch looked like someone just slept in it because pillows were smashed. No privacy and got woken up 3 times to a maintenance man and someone delivering a dryer.”airbnb

“Dishwasher was broke. And every dish in the place is completely nasty. Also the window in n the front doesn’t close all the way and I never secure.”airbnb

“To sum it up it felt like a landlord special. Bare minimum effort in trying to provide a nice place to stay. The beds were awful to sleep on and more than one had hair in it or stains. Every floor was at a different height; you had to step up to get into the bathroom, down to get into the family room. The lights in the family room were nearly burnt out so it was extremely dim and the trash was still full when we arrived. The dishes weren’t put away and the handle on the fridge was broken off. The bathroom felt dingy with ratty looking washcloths. The body wash was nearly empty and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles were dusty. There were “decorations” in very random places on the walls that looked like they were from the dollar store…just bare minimum effort. Quite disappointed. The area was white which is great for a family but that’s all it has going for it. The pictures made it look so inviting but I definitely would not stay here again. 1 out of 5 stars in my book.”airbnb

“The basement was flooded the whole time we were there with sewage back up the house was still very dirty even after he said that cleaners had been there sheets didn’t fit the bed at all . The place did look at all like the pictures”airbnb

“After being assured by the host that the house would be clean and ready for our stay, we arrived to discover quite the opposite: one bath towel for six people, trash left behind, hair in every bed, soiled pillows with no covers, water in basement, dirty toilets, and no hand soap in bathroom. We had to launder the bed linens before going to bed. Not only was this inconvenient; it was also a safety issue as the sump pump backed up and left standing water in the basement. The electrical cord for the dryer was sitting in soapy water. I did call the managing company regarding these issues during our stay. Yes, new bath towels and soaps were delivered to our door the first night. Yes, new pillows were delivered the second day. But we still had to clean areas before use. After requesting a partial refund from Joseph, he refunded the cleaning fee, but nothing more. Airbnb Support reviewed the case and refunded additional monies. I would not recommend this place to anyone.”airbnb

“Joseph switched our reservation location without our approval to a inconvenient location (30 minutes away, in a different town) The new location had torn sheets on the bed. We refused to stay there and had to find a hotel at the last minute.”airbnb

“The furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable they could clean a little better in the bathrooms. There was mold on the ceiling. I fixed the carpet door in the kitchen toilet seat. The air conditioner was so loud you could not talk or watch television..”airbnb

“Heads up... Early check in will be extra. Generally most hosts don't mind being there an hour or two early unless if they had a previous rental. (Understandable) But with the bathroom looking the way it did, this wasn't the case. Joseph you will want to talk to the cleaning crew, the floor of the shower needs attention. Also they must have sprayed for ants and left all the dead ones on the walls around the window and next to the mirror/towel rack. We also had an ant invasion in the kitchen from some crumbs under the toaster. The rest of the house was clean, and resembled the photos. The fridge is small and no ice maker but there are ice trays and it kept everything cold. Many mention the large TV. It's great, we watched movies together in the living room at night. You are surrounded by nature, even with neighbors, we saw dear running through the yard both days and there is a small creek behind the house. Joseph, I would recommend putting a small vanity or something in the bathroom.”airbnb

“Check in went great until we noticed ants on the kitchen counters and spiders all over the house. It would have been fine if it was just one or two but it was hundreds of ants. A day later we had random people on the property looking into the windows of the house and we think spraying something but they were so so fast we couldn’t tell. Next thing we know we heard noises from under us (basement) and the door from basement to inside the house was only locked from the outside via a padlock bar, there was no way to lock the door from opening on the guest side, we knew people were in the basement from the cars. The host never once said he was having anyone ever to treat bugs or in the house while we are there. Me and my family didn’t sleep once while we were staying in the house. We would have relocated to a hotel or another house but we didn’t have extra funds to do so. Also had no safe place to take our dogs so we took them home early. If you’re reading this review, look into a new host!”airbnb

“Again dirty bed sheets no cleaning supplies to even wash the sheets, no smoke detectors, caked on food on the floor, responsive to the mess but asked to move our location late at night after long hours working and not conducive..checked our early ..hotel next time for sure”airbnb
