Wavecrest Beach Vacations
4.32Visit website
Wavecrest Beach Vacations's guest rating of 4.32 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Nice place, but this is not an AirBnB. You’ll have to sign another rental agreement. Lots of new rules after the fact. In my case, the management company could not address a problem, temp set at 75, and had to contact the owner. This took longer than it should have. Just know what you’re getting into.”airbnb

“The pictures def don’t match the actual place. Photos look way better. Had issues with wrong code provided to enter building. But location was great, right on the beach. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi. It was quiet.”airbnb

“bad experience end to end. i booked several months in advance, no problem. a week out i was sent a contract to sign that was not previously disclosed with terms conflicting the listing. i flagged to the owner and airbnb, after which the owner changed the listing and tried to gaslight me. after multiple requests to just cancel for a full refund, they refused, but did waive the additional contract. upon arrival to the unit, which is part of a duplex, there is already another group in our unit, fully moved in. their door code worked both doors, ours didn't work theirs. call the host and waited 3 hours for them to inform us to switch to the other unit. in the unit, all the beds listed as queens were actually doubles. very cramped for our group. i talked to the neighbors and checked what was supposed to be our unit and it was the same set up. other than all that, it was generally fine. apportioned well enough for a beach house and it is located on the beach.”airbnb

“Where do I start. House smelled like a moldy basement with mold on the shower curtains. Refrigerator had maintenance issues. Would beep 3 x’s every minute which kept us up ALL NIGHT. Had to be repaired not once but twice on day 4 it finally stopped. Also on day 4 Hot water stoped working until repaired but then next day it stoped again. Pool/“Covered Hot tub” water was literally green. We sat around it and barely put our feet in. Was not fun hearing our neighbors enjoying their time in their nice blue pool. Pool guy arrived on our last day. “Wood” floors were plastic over “bouncy” sub floor. TV in back room off of kitchen has a red line across it. Overall our experience was not fun. I usually stay at condos on the ocean but wanted to try something different. I wish I could share the pictures and videos of everything I just explained. Hopefully they fix their issues for the next family that decide to stay at this place.”airbnb

“It was a nice quite stay the only downfall was before I booked it stated we had access to pool gym etc get there we didn't have access to anything and was looking forward to that had kids with me main reason I booked but other then that was clean and quite do I think its worth how much I paid no because you dont get to do anything no access to pool arcade or gym”airbnb

“The space was fine, but it didn’t match the listing information. I would have not booked it if I understood the washer/dryer situation. The listing indicated washer/dryer in unit but in actuality it was a communal washer/dryer available at a cost. There were two units available (at a cost) for our 3 floors of condos and they did not work well. Our clothes never ended up drying and they were not washed well. I reached out the day we checked in and finally got an answer after 4 days of asking. I would not have originally booked if I knew this was the set up, due to our length of stay. The units proximity to the beach is nice and walkable. The patio area is as described, but it isn’t as peaceful as I expected due to the construction going on at the inlet. The indoor pool/ hot tub were close which was nice but security was no where to be found when an aggressive drunk man threatened to punch some kids because they we playing in the pool (he got in after they were there). Roaches on tub.”airbnb

“The property was in unacceptable condition upon arrival. Bathrooms were dirty with visible hair and debris. The home showed significant disrepair, including an unsafe deck and a railing that had fallen off. One bed was held together with duct tape, and the kitchen sink barely functioned. Porches were unclean, with a damaged screen. The listing advertised a gym, but what was provided did not meet that description. We notified the host immediately, but no solution was offered. Overall, the property was far below expectations and did not match the listing. We were very disappointed and felt the stay was not worth the cost.”airbnb
