“This cabin was super cute and in a wonderful location! Perfect size for us :) It was pretty well kept lots of towels and toiletries soap ect. The jacuzzi however didn’t work super well. 2 of the jets hardly work and it takes like 40min to fill up. By the time it’s full your water is lukewarm. There was also some stuff coming out of the water maybe just hadn’t been used in a while. We didn’t use the hot tub tho I stuck my hand in it and it also appeared to be kinda luke warm. I didn’t look into this because we didn’t care to use it but figured others might like to know. The place was pretty cleanly however the shower curtain was totally moldy 😬. Other than that we had a beautiful stay. Great location. Super easy to find. Cute and secluded area. Quiet at night.”

“1.) The cabin is gorgeous so I gave 3 stars just for that alone. I really want to do 2 1/2 because the cabin itself is half my review and then the host is the other half. 2.) I paid more and chose this cabin over another one strictly because there was a foosball table and my children love foosball. However, the foosball table was broken, missing handles, and came with no ball to play. (This was not disclosed at all during or before the stay very deceiving) 2.) I reached out to the host about several things - broken window blinds, loose and wobbly bath tub/shower faucet that separated from the shower wall when switching to shower mode which is a liability because it looks like there’s no maintenance going on. 3.) Buy your own toiletries (toilet tissue, paper towels, garbage bags) because they only give 1 per toilet even though its a cabin for 10 people. While the cabin was beautiful, the host needs to work on their hosting skills. Overall, I’m grateful though. Thank You.”

“The house itself was wonderful and great to stay in. However, the host wasn’t responsive my last day we asked for check out instructions the day before and I was told we would be sent them that evening. I messaged and followed up with no reply. I got instructions 45 mins before check out time after we had already left. We did our best and kept everything clean and took trash out and started laundry and cleaned dishes. But there was no communication at all on the last day just flat out ignored”

“The smoke detectors have been going off for 3 days- the dryer takes 3 cycles to dry a load of clothes - there is no can opener in the kitchen. The beds upstairs need to be replaced and the shower upstairs is great if you are 5 ft 6inches tall- the house was clean but needs updates . Also the internet was in and out alot before the storms. We contacted the owners about the smoke detectors and the dryer on Friday night - we are checking out and have not heard from them.”

“The location and amenities were exactly what was described and listed. When we arrived and opened the door the smell of mold (being a realtor I know the smell all to well) was overwhelming I left the door open to try and let some of it out having seen the cabin had been closed up for over a week. After an hour the smell did not get any better called for assistance they sent a maintenance man with a can of air freshener and no available cabin yo move us to. We ended up leaving due to health concerns of my daughter after finding growth on the curtains and rug in front of the pull out couch. We were refunded from the host however, not all of it. We did jave to find other accommodations for the week which was very hard and not the vacation we were expecting. All in all the place was dirty and need to be cleaned again the amout of dirt and filth on the floor was a reflection of the cleaning crew not the host. The customer support was good however the maintenance crew was lacking.”

“The location was convenient. The house was beautiful. The function of the master bathroom wasn’t the best. It didn’t have good water pressure. The upstairs tv wasn’t able to be watch due to the bed post right in the middle. The lights switch3/ didn’t work for alot of the lights. Very open which was nice. I should have read better and realized the other bedroom was on the bottom floor. Was not ideal for small child. I had to put her on the pull out bed in the living room. Overall stay was 7/10”

“Overall, this is a cool spot. I cannot judge too hard as I am unfamiliar with their margins, taxes, overhead, etc. But off the cuff, I would say for the hefty nightly rate and tight time windows to check in and out (especially on a one night getaway) they should probably have brand new hot tubs, no broken floors or missing carpet areas, and truly strive towards being the "Most Luxurious Cabins in The Smoky Mountains"... And if the cleaners need the homes cleared from 10am to 4pm, I am going to assume they could provide a thorough cleaning and atleast dust the place down, etc.”

“I want to first acknowledge that my review is based off the cabin we stayed in which was 1514 Country living. I also want to acknowledge that Tony with Venture Mountain has been a HUGE HELP!! He is why we gave a three star review!! Now for my review, this cabin was crap! That’s as simple as I can put it, you advertise a hot tub, fire place, games, but yet you don’t make the stuff useable. The hot tub had a broken circuit board per the maintainer man who came and looked at it. The fire place was fixed but you had to jimmy rig it, that’s definitely safe right?! The games were missing pieces. So they are more of game decor than playable games. Don’t get me started on the cleanliness and the smell of weed. At the end of the day, it was big enough for us and our animals and it gave us a place to sleep.”

“There were a few dirty/ stained towels. No garbage bags then the one in the can. Basement had a smell that was unpleasant. Pool was dirty. Location was great and a lot of rooms”

“Host told us to contact Airbnb for any issues since we booked with them. The place smelt like mold/ pee and windows had spider webs. The front of the house was not cleaned. I understand the house was in the forest but keep it up to date. I wouldn’t recommend unless they do some remodeling. Airbnb did have me a full refund so Shout out to them!”
