The place was beautiful. The location was gorgeous. However, for a facility that is meant to House a large group we were a little disappointed that there weren’t more items to cook with for our large family, for example, bigger pots and pans skillet, etc., as well as larger mixing bowls. One of the main reasons we rent Airbnb Holmes is so that we have the ability to cook for a large crew instead of going out to dinner and it made a little difficult to do that without adequate supplies. The house was also extremely hot when we arrived and it took a full 24 hours to cool down. I do understand that it was the hottest week that area has seen in years. However, we had a very small baby and the hot house made it hard to completely relax for a while. My suggestion would be to turn on the air at least somewhat before guest were arriving so that it was cooled down enough for them to be comfortable.

Ok. I’ve stayed in Airbnb’s around the world. I’ve never had an experience like this. The space itself was perfect for a weekend meeting with family - it was halfway! The good ends there. Three bathroom, but two of them had issues. One leaking, the other, the handle was malfunctioning. You couldn’t get pressure and a good temp. Towels were threadbare with holes. Fitted sheets wouldn’t stay on the beds. 3 inch long LIVE cockroach in a bedroom. Ants like I’ve never seen. Many other bugs (and I live in TX - I get it). Vehicle parked on the street broken into. Neighborhood noise that triggered a police noise complaint. Host responded quickly, but clearly AI. Every response was “checking with property management”. One of the massive living room windows didn’t have working shade. This was the worst Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The space is perfect. Its maintenance and location, however, were very, very poor. Stay if you like. But bring bug spray, towels, and fit in the garage.

We stayed here with our family for a month. The location is perfect and close to everything. We did have some problems but they told us how to fix most of them and we were able to fix them, except for the hot tub. After many attempts we were never able to get it working and no one came to get it fixed. Also, the pool maintenance person didn’t really do his job so we had to stay on top of it and weren’t able to use it for almost 2 weeks. Everything else was great. A good home, clean and fully stocked. The backyard was awesome and we enjoyed it. Our family also just was not very comfortable with the sitting situation in the tv room as the couches were too small and not the most comfortable, but that’s to our preference! The kids loved their rooms and their space upstairs! Overall while fixing a few things and not being able to use all amenities during our 1 month stay, the house was a nice place to stay and a great location.

HVAC needs maintenance cannot maintain proper temperature; master bedroom bed broke/flimsy mattress; no window covering or proper insulation around sliding glass door, which was very hard to open, only one kitchen towel for the whole day and only one roll of paper towels. Kitchen not properly stocked. Windows not properly insulated or covered; therefore made house hotter. Master bedroom set up doesn’t make sense; bed on hottest two walls of the entire house. Should be moved to the wall adjacent to the main living area. Main bathroom baseboards dirty. Only one bath towel per person provided. Master bedroom only had two pillows for sleeping. Screen door to backyard, broken, crooked, very difficult to open. Dining room chairs were very uncomfortable and not felt like they were going to break. Icemaker randomly shot ice out kind of funny. So much potential with a little bit of maintenance and TLC. Despite being a busy neighborhood, it was very quiet and the neighbors were respectful.

We stayed for 5 nights, everything was great with one exception, the mattress in the queen bed was really uncomfortable. We sent a message to the host and they responded immediately, but completely dismissed us. We expected a serious consideration.

The unit was not cleaned and the instructions were inaccurate. Ihad to message host for code and wait for response. From the dog hair on bed, obvious dirt on rug and large dead roaches (6) on the floor it was one of the most disappointing arrivals I've ever had. This should NEVER happen.

Home was in terrible condition. Dark stains/colored stains all over the carpet. Scuffs and holes all throughout walls. Ethernet cord from upstairs is running down wall, under carpet and taped to floor. Multiple light fixtures in the home did not work. Upstairs bathroom has a leaking tub faucet. Icemaker did not work, refrigerator is dented. Several wasp nest in front and back yard. They did not allow us to use garage which made it very difficult to unload during rain, which it rained several days there. Property managers left the back yard gate open several occasions. Also it appears they have access while you are staying there. They know when you leave and arrive by the doorbell camera. We tried to move the same day we arrived and they would not allow it. We even asked for a refund and they would not honor it or give any type of credit.

Unfortunately, my experience at this property was disappointing. There were a significant number of spiders around the house, and while I initially tried to overlook it, I later found an insect on my pillow, which raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and pest control of the property. The exterior of the home also appeared to need maintenance and upkeep before hosting guests. Additionally, the shower curtain had noticeable yellow staining along the bottom. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication. The host was not responsive when concerns were raised, and there was also limited communication during attempts to address the issues through Airbnb support. I hope this feedback helps the host improve the property and guest experience in the future.

Do not stay here until they fix the AC and the construction across the street stops Also they gave my personal phone number to a property manager who texted and called, then yelled at me when I called back
