“Pet friendly which is nice but doesn’t make it feel the cleanest. Stayed during Hurricane Isaias and wasn’t impressed with the communication. It was all corporate responses and didn’t feel personal which was needed during an emergency. I wouldnt recommend vacation homes collection unless you can’t find anything else or have pets.”

“The house was beautiful and situated in a private neighborhood that was quiet, yet close to action and an easy walk to the beach. We had to leave early due to the hurricane. Originally. A voluntary evacuation was issued, which we heeded, but were told we we not get a refund unless it was mandatory. That was my only "complaint". Otherwise the property and the check in/out procedures were great. We even got to use the kayak on site before we left!”

“The house itself was great, and we really enjoyed the property. There are a few things I think future guests should know. While the beach is technically within walking distance, it’s not a particularly realistic walk, especially if you’re carrying beach gear. I would definitely recommend driving or renting a golf cart. The house is also tucked away and somewhat difficult to find, so more detailed check-in directions would be helpful. Our biggest frustration was the communication surrounding the hurricane that developed during our stay. We received inconsistent information about what we were expected to do to prepare, which made an already stressful situation more frustrating. We were also expected to move all of the outdoor furniture inside ourselves. We were told multiple times that someone would be coming to check on the property, but no one ever showed up. We understand that severe weather creates unexpected challenges, but clear, consistent communication and follow-through are es”

“We had a nice stay overall. There were ants on the counters and in the bathroom, and the bed in the primary bedroom was very noisy whenever we got in or out of it. Aside from those issues, it was a nice place, and we enjoyed our time here.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is in a great location. Easy to get to restaurants and shops. Directly on the beach with outdoor pool and restaurant right below also. The only thing I felt needs to be more clear/transparent is the parking. There is a small lot directly on the property but it fills up fast. The bigger lot is across a 4 lane road. Theres a crosswalk but when we arrived the road was flooded to our calves due to water from a rainstorm. It wasnt a deal breaker for us, but i would have liked to been informed about the parking situation more clearly on the front end.”

“The host was responsive and check in was simple. The condo needs updating with some baseboards missing. There isn’t a deadbolt on the door which felt unsafe for our toddler. The views from the balcony were beautiful!”

“Our main issues weren’t really fixable by the host company. We have very loud people above us which made it difficult to relax and rest. This would be inportant for people to know if they are looking for quiet. We heard everything above and beside us. Also while they cannot control rude people leaving a mess there were issues with cleanliness outside the room. The same trash was in the stairwell and outside the entire 5 days we were there. The one thing that would have been nice is more amenities inside the room. This was the biggest difference we noticed not having an individual run the bob. No extra paper towels or TP, no coffee or tea. I guess it just wasn’t warm and inviting. Those are small things I know but it was definitely noticeable when you have stayed places where the host goes out of their way to make it a home away from home.”

“For the price, this place was worth it. Had it cost more, I’m not sure it would have been. The location was fantastic so incredibly close to the beach and the pools. We loved the indoor pool on the rainy day. Nice view of beach from the balcony. Sassy Bass Restaurant on site was great. The coffee shop Selah on site, 10/10 such good quality coffee !! The condo is a little outdated, kitchen needs updated (and clean) utensils. Bedrooms are very small but comfortable. We would stay here again simple for the budget friendly price.”

“I was inquiring about the unit the day before the next day they jump the price up $300.00. I also tried to negotiate the price. I emailed the night before then they jumped the price. Overall, our stay was nice. A few jets in the Jacuzzi were not working. There were also elevator issues and we were informed that there was going to be. Fire checks for two days.”

“Upon arrival, the tv wasn’t working with any apps neither was the WiFi, so we had to leave the air bnb constantly to watch any games we wanted to enjoy. We reached out and we were told that it would be resolved during business hours, which was no help given we were staying there during the weekend. The sprinklers constantly go off at night time, so you cannot enjoy the patio, our beach gear got soaking wet. No restaurants near by, everything closes early. The water was great, beach was clean. Upstairs the master bedroom was and stayed very hot during our whole stay, couldn’t figure out how to turn the fan on or cool it down. Sleep sofa is broken in the middle, not comfortable for any kind of sleep.”
