Traveller's Comfort
4.59Visit website
Traveller's Comfort's guest rating of 4.59 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“I hate to write a bad review but We came in late for a family emergency, the host didn’t reply for 3 hours after the given code did NOT work, my kids and husband had to sit in the car and wait after a 10 hour drive for over 3 hours, When host finally responded no sorry or any kind of apology just another code that actually worked. When we got into the apartment everything looked nice but the noise from the highway was so loud. Also after you pay for the Airbnb they surprise you with another charge for $50 a day damage deposit that isn’t refundable. I wouldn’t stay here again.”airbnb

“Our stay in the unit titled “2B condo pool/gym & golf sim” had several serious issues. We encountered multiple live roaches and had to kill them ourselves. At one point, a roach crawled up my leg, which was extremely uncomfortable. This was not a one-time occurrence and raised major concerns about cleanliness and sanitation. There were also cleanliness issues, including buildup under furniture and dog hair. The bunk bed was not sturdy, so my girlfriend’s nephews slept on the couch. The water also did not get hot. We cleaned up after ourselves and sent the host photos of every roach we killed and the buildup we found. The host called us and asked us not to leave a bad review. When we raised concerns, the owners declined a refund, saying there was not enough evidence. We also had to leave groceries behind out of concern they may have been contaminated. Shortly after checkout, the unit appeared to be made available again, then changed to “owner” occupancy after we questioned it.”airbnb

“Would not stay here again the whole place smelled like weed, it took us like 30 minutes just to try to get in.Once we got in the cleaners had left leftover fast food on the counters, stains on the bed, the towels and washclothes looked like they had been used for years raggedy and run through, Pubic hair all over the bathroom floors, and just dogs everywhere. Our checkout time was 11 it was 10:50 am and the cleaning ladies w all there kids started knocking on the door for us to hurry and get out. Completely unacceptable would not recommend to anyone! Also girls were twerking by our car to loud music at 11 am as I was putting my children in the car so that was fine too!”airbnb

“With a hidden $50 nonrefundable fee after booking and poor cleanliness, this rental is not one I would choose again. The floors were dirty, the sheets smelled and had visible crumbs, almost half of the dishes had been returned to the cabinet used, and the couch was covered in animal hair. The overhead light in one of the bedrooms flickered to the point it was unusable. We were given the wrong check-in code at first, but were able to resolve it quickly with a phone call. The cleanliness issue was also communicated to the host, but the solution they were willing to offer was a reclean the night before checkout. The space was nice, but the state of the place took the enjoyment out of what could have been a pleasant stay.”airbnb

“Parking was chaotic due to it being across the street and behind another building and a lot of construction, which I do understand is unavoidable; I wish we had been told earlier the parking arrangement. We struggled to get in because the wrong door code was sent. It took me off guard that a full background check outside of Airbnb —including prior job history, prior addresses, family relative identification was required prior to receiving a confirmation for this booking. The couch had visible and excessive stains and both lamps in the bedroom had been broken. Things obviously happen with guests but with the stack of damage fees and damage deposits you’re warned about I would’ve expected prior damage to have been fixed. We were warned about a fee for not returning a parking pass but we never received one before the end of our stay. It worked for our time there but it was chaotic and could’ve been cleaner.”airbnb

“I was given the wrong WiFi name and the host is trying to say the WiFi did not work cause I unplugged the extender. I did not touch the extender at any point. I provided a video of the roach I saw in the bathroom and they advised it was a water bug. The customer service with the company was terrible they offer me 20% back but said if I leave a bad review I would not be able to get the refund. As this was a terrible first experience with Airbnb I am requesting more money back. The WiFi was in use during check in because their TVs automatically connect to the right WiFi. The WiFi name I was given was “ Traveller's Comfort 36_GuestEXT“ the one I was actually able to connect to morning after my reservation was “ Traveller's Comfort 36_GuesEXT” they need to update their portal. This company was terrible and the people only went back and forth with me instead of owning up. They are saying there is proof that the extender was unplugged but I think the staff did it to save their tails.”airbnb

“The residence gate was broken when we arrived which eliminated a level of security. The elevator was broken (if they knew about it they didn't let us know), we had to carry all groceries and luggage up three flights of stairs. Horrible "smoke" smells at the pool and in the stairwell. Dogs barking on balconies. Not a pleasant stay for us.”airbnb

“I would like to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your Airbnb. We arrived at 4:00 PM, as scheduled, but the property was not ready for check-in. The cleaning staff were still on-site, and we were informed that the property would not be ready until 5:00 PM. This resulted in a one-hour wait, which was frustrating given our early arrival. Furthermore, the cleaning staff seemed unaccommodating and unhelpful. We were not provided with a parking pass, which caused us to search for parking for an additional hour. When we contacted the management to request assistance, we were advised to seek street parking, which was not clearly communicated prior to our arrival.”airbnb
