“Fantastic stay! Went with friends, kids and babies. Clean home, large areas to hang out in, close to a lot of restaurants/lake access. I’m giving 4 stars because we specifically booked this stay because it was advertised as a walk to the lake. We couldn’t the walkable lake access so we asked for directions from the host, but after following those directions for 20 minutes, we only found private lake access roads and gave up and turned around. Overall lovely place to stay in Tahoe but they should update the listing or have more clear directions to the lake with a map and trail.”

“My friends and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful home! The kitchen was well stocked and the view of the lake was breathtaking. The hot tub was great! The owner did have a lot of signs up throughout the house which made us feel like we couldn’t fully feel quite at home. Overall great trip!”

“The place was great with ample parking. The huge downside was our heater stopped working on the second night. They sent someone to look at it but still didn’t work. We were told to use the space heaters in the closets but we were unable to find any. Also the service tech that came mentioned we can get discounted due to not having a heater in the middle of January. But when I reached out to the company about the discount they never responded. They did an allow and 2 hour late check out ( we had no choice it’s hard to get kids out of bed when it’s super cold.)”

“The house is large and has a fine location, however I strongly recommend reading the entire description very carefully before booking. Photos of a sauna were included in the listing, but the sauna has not been working since October. This was not mentioned anywhere in the description, which was disappointing. Additionally, the sauna is located inside the master bedroom, which is not ideal at all — all guests have to walk through that room. The sauna itself is very small: realistically it fits a maximum of 3 people, and only if they are quite slim. The cleanliness of the house was about 70%. In one of the upstairs bedrooms, there is a long-pile wool rug, and the wool was shedding a lot — it easily stuck to feet and ended up all over the house, which was uncomfortable. Also, the upstairs bedroom located in the middle, right by the stairs, was the coldest room in the house.The jacuzzi was great: hot water, clean, and worked perfectly — no complaints there.”
