“We had a family get together and we wish we had more time to stay. Everyone has something to enjoy in the house. Lots of games: puzzles, dominoes, cards, billiard, table tennis, bocce ball. Play structure for kids in the backyard. Other activities: jacuzzi, grill. 4 bedrooms were spacious and beautiful. 2 attached bathrooms, 2 shared bedrooms. 2 bed + 2 bath on floor 1, second set upstairs. Plenty of space to sit and dine together. Kitchen was a dream. We cooked almost every meal. Lots of herbs, spices. Has all pots & pans & dinnerware in well stocked kitchen. Parking can fit about 5-6 cars on parking lot. Great location from water. We could see the Lake from the balcony. Advice: - bring your own shampoo, conditioner and lotion - the altitude is high. Skin gets extremely dry. We visited in September.”

“Big Buck Lodge is a great place for a large family vacation. Very well thought out. My only complaint is that there were two chirping smoke detectors all weekend and a slow drain in one of the showers. We should have contacted them but I chose not to since I didn't want to go through the hassle. It would have taken away from our stay. Otherwise, we had a great time.”

“Clean and comfortable. Our dogs loved the backyard. The neighborhood was very nice. Close to all the great things in Lake Tahoe.”

“The home was excellent overall. It was clean upon arrival, offered beautiful views of Lake Tahoe, featured comfortable beds, and had a well-equipped kitchen that made our stay very enjoyable. There were, however, a couple of maintenance issues worth noting. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms were not functioning, which resulted in excess moisture and an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the door to the half-bathroom did not lock properly. Aside from these bathroom-related concerns, the property was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided a pleasant stay. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend the home, while encouraging the host to address these minor issues to further enhance the guest experience.”
