Manager Review

Summit Mountain Rentals

Summit Mountain Rentals's guest rating of 4.76 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The place was great, it's new and great location. The only thing I would've wished were clearer instructions that the building locks from 10 PM to 8 AM and that the key doesn't work to get in only the key card. That was not communicated and we definitely got locked out, even after asking the summit mountain rental the hours they couldn't answer us about the hours the front door would be locked. We figured it out by getting locked out:)

The location was great. Amenities matched description. Unit is on the smaller size a little dated but still very clean. Unit has humidifiers which was great and ton of glassware. Check in was a pain though. You must pick up your key at the management company which is a 7 minute drive. Also you don’t have access to any amenities in the building including parking until you get your key which is a strong 4PM. Would def stay in building again.

Summit mountain rentals failed to communicate that the elevator was out of service and that the hot tub was drained and not in use before check in. Both were amenities that I was looking forward to; if this had been communicated beforehand I would be understanding. I also had issues with the front door not locking unless the knob on the inner side of the door was positioned extremely particularly. The staff of the building also was aggressive while unpacking in the unloading zone, and berated us for not moving the car fast enough, (although I was very clearly still in the ten minute unloading window). Upon check out I mentioned these issues to summit mountain rentals and I received no response whatsoever. Overall, one of the most disappointing situations I have had with an Airbnb rental in the Dillon area. Duped on amenities, unfriendly building staff, and lack of communication as to what was available and what wasn’t was extremely upsetting. Would not recommend renting from SMR

The location was good but upon arrival the garage elevators weren’t working and their sign didn’t direct us to the lobby elevators. So a 70 and 79 year old couple had to carry bags up 4 floors from the garage. Also pictures don’t show the dirt and stains on the couches and carpets. Overall, not as nice as the pictures looked.

Beautiful location, comfortable and clean. The direct shuttle to Copper is a 2 minute walk away, restaurants are a 10 minute walk. ample parking. The pool is warm. However, several small things are broken in the apartment and everything is very dated. for the price point I would expect better. sauna is barely functional, door doesn't close. you also can't use the jets in the hot tub bc it's so over-chlorinated. the pool room, while very clean, needs some TLC & design, it's pretty blasé. Lastly, using AI agents for communication does not equate 100% responsiveness; it ended up not solving my problem and being useless because 1) not human and 2) not knowing the details of my particular apartment.

Heat / hot water went off in the middle of our first night. Woke up freezing and had to take cold showers. I had to restart heater and asked for it to be looked at. Nobody looked at it. Heat went out again a few days later. More cold showers. The glass on the fireplace was also shattered and was not removed or covered safety.

Kitchen was well stocked. Private hot tub was really nice. Lots of room for everyone and great flow upstairs. Easy access to the slopes. Limited parking for a big house. Dishwasher worked sometimes. Really annoying that the WiFi stopped working out last day when they switched boxes. Maintenance crew very unhelpful and no one fixed it. Definitely ruined the good vibes. Wouldn’t go back.

Silverthorne area is really good as all the towns and ski resorts are nearby. But particularly with Summit rentals, they can do better in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the place. We found the pull out bed of the living room couch full of stains and what not. We were having trouble sleeping in bedroom as the height of the bed is massive and we wanted to sleep on the pull out bed from the couch but because of hygiene issues we ended up sleeping on the floor by keeping some sheets under. All in all - its a fair deal but they can do better.

House was great for a place to stay. Management told us to look in the kitchen cabinets for a shovel for the driveway… I think that explains our stay well. Overall 9/10.

Great location near Breckenridge. It's quiet and has everything you want for a quaint A-frame. We had some issues with Summit Mountain, but the property itself was nice.
