“The house was absolutely beautiful! It was in a great area. Me and my friends were able to walk to multiple places on our list! The house was very clean, and had plenty of room for all of us to feel comfortable. I gave 4 stars because we were a house full of girls on a trip with only one true shower, (the other bathroom just had a tub), and it wasn’t very spacious with the rainfall shower head (it was a gorgeous bathroom though). We did have one friend with a cast, so the tub was actually helpful for her. It was 90 degrees in Austin while we were there and the house stayed very warm throughout the day. We just weren’t accustomed to that kind of temperature and we stayed very hot. But at night, the fans did help keep us cool. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would stay again!! The host was very accommodating and responsive. We made some amazing memories, and had the best time!”airbnb

“Had a great stay with my friends for a girls trip. It was our first time to Austin and Stay Local’s Airbnb was in a fantastic location. Easily walkable to restaurants, stores, and groceries. The beds were comfortable and the amount of towels provided was awesome. The kitchen had all the necessities. The shower water pressure in the primary ensuite was not ideal. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.”airbnb

““Had a wonderful stay here in Austin. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Great location, peaceful atmosphere, and everything I needed was thoughtfully provided. The host was responsive, welcoming, and made the stay smooth from check-in to check-out. I truly felt at home. Highly recommend, and I’d gladly stay here again!””airbnb

“Spacious distribution, comfortable beds, but only 1 king, the other 2 rooms were Full, too small for 2 adults, we had to use the couch for the kids. The Kitchen was amazing very well equipped, 2 coffee machines, unfortunately we couldn’t turn on the range hood or figured out how to, but rest worked perfectly. Extremely clean floors and bathrooms. Good AC, at first I smelled like humidity but then I noticed there were over 700 books in separate bookshelves, amazing selection, I think that’s what I smelled. Be careful on the driveway entrance if you have a car or sedan, there is a steep curb that will scratch the bottom of your vehicle when you drive in. The garage is locked and off limits, so as other cabinets and probably a media room or office. The patio is too noisy from the back road, has no grass, all small rocks and bamboos and has no grill for bbq, but has a nice enclosed patio with screens. There is a nice hike park 1 mile away, will definitely stay here again for the weekend.”airbnb

“The listing says “street parking” but when you get there the entire neighborhood says paid hourly parking during the day and residents only at night. We wrote and asked if there was a parking permit. They wrote back that there is “only one” but there was none. They never gave us one. There is literally nowhere to park anywhere by this property. The contract they made us sign said that there was a book with information about the property but there wasn’t one. We told them. They had some weird instructions in plastic on the walls instead for the remote controls. The rental agreement for this AirBnB was a headache and excessive, and then they did not even have their act together to make sure that we could park a rental car anywhere near the property. This property is also a health risk. The smell is musty and mildewy, like this property has flooded in the past. Every room had “damp rid” containers but it didn’t help. Worst AirBnB experience we have had. We regretted not getting a hotel.”airbnb

“Well-located, self-contained unit in a hamlet near the freeway but without any real noise problems from it. There was a bit of confusion at check-in: they didn't sent me the door code before arrival (and it wasn't listed in the app), plus the unit had no house guide (also not online), but I otherwise had a problem-free stay. The house looks exactly as described, but note that the dorm-style fridge is older & quite compact, and its refrigerator part doesn't stay that cold. Also has a small microwave. There's an H-E-B only a few blocks away, however, along with some great eateries in adjacent Hyde Park & along nearby Airport Blvd.”airbnb

“The place itself was nice-- very clean, beds comfortable, private entrance, a big TV and convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. However, the property management team could use improvement with their communication and problem resolution. The security alarm went off almost every night (five out of seven nights) multiple times, making it difficult to sleep through the night. The property management team was slow to respond about this issue. It took a couple days to get a technician out. Even after that, the alarm still went off. When I informed the team of this, they said I could "let them know if I need further assistance." Communications felt very general and unclear, making it difficult to resolve the problem. Would love to see this improved for future guests so they can enjoy their stay at this property.”airbnb

“The stay here was not good. The house was dirty with stains and hair in the restrooms when we arrived ( documented with pictures). And around midnight when me and my guests returned from the evening for sleep the low battery for the smoke alarm was beeping all through the night in the bed rooms making it hard to get any rest. We tried calling the support only to be told after a 30 minute call that there is nothing they can do till the morning. Which is ridiculous, if we had stayed at a hotel they could have fixed it then and there or moved us to different room. The hosts take forever to respond on that chat. I would never recommend staying here ever. I have stayed at dozens of airbnbs and never have been to one like this. Stay away from any properties managed by this group. Only response was “we will let the team know…””airbnb
