“It was a cute house right next to a lot of great restaurants and the hosts were very helpful. The walk to Zilker takes about 30-35 minutes. After the festival it was a bit sketchy as the road doesn’t have a sidewalk. I wish the kitchen had been better outfitted. A house that easily sleeps 6 should have more than three mugs and wine glasses.”

“It was fine for the most part. Hard to get in as the lock didn’t work and had to wait for them to answer”

“The host canceled on me a couple hours before check-in because the local storm revealed a leak in the kitchen. It was a hassle to get a refund. The host or company or chat bot shared in messages that Airbnb was to blame. The company refunded me 2/3 of what I'd paid and messaged me that there were no more funds to provide me. This is on a rental that the host canceled. It took two weeks and about 2 hours in call time and messages to secure the full refund. Super sketch.”

“The location is definitely the biggest positive. It’s prime real estate and very convenient, which was a major reason I chose this property. The space has potential and could be a great option for an extended stay. Unfortunately, my 14-day stay was mixed. The WiFi was unreliable for most of my stay. While I was told the service showed adequate speeds on their end, that didn’t match my actual experience. For an extended stay, dependable WiFi is an important basic amenity. The washing machine also broke twice. I was asked to troubleshoot it myself, including accessing the breaker panel and resetting switches. I understand things break, but guests shouldn’t be expected to troubleshoot or repair appliances. I appreciated the team’s communication, but the issues continued for too long and the support felt limited. Given the length and price of the stay, I expected more reliable amenities and a smoother experience. The location is excellent, but these issues significantly impacted my stay.”
