“Enjoyed our stay. Would have liked the beach chairs set up earlier. Weren’t out until 8:30am and took them up while We were sitting out there. I believe it was 5pm. Would have liked to know the hours ahead of time.”

“This home was good to be in, despite there being many things needing to be taken care of. I guess my biggest complaint would be the lack of communication and effort from Southern Holiday Homes. I will not say many of the other things that was wrong with the home as to show some respect for this company and because we weren’t left satisfied nor dissatisfied. Thank you for letting us stay in this airbnb and overall we had a good trip.”

“House was beautiful. Location was great. Downside is that it was obvious we were dealing with a corporate group. Very rigid in rules. There are 24 deep steps per level, which is fine for physically able people. My sister broke her ankle the day we got there and it made for a really difficult week. They have an elevator but it wasn't available which was clear in the listing. We specifically picked the house for the pool with a hot tub. We knew it cost to heat the pool, not that it cost the same amount to heat the hot tub. $50 per day. That wasn't clear in the listing. And paying $2k per day, seems a "hot" tub should be hot. There were several small things wrong on arrival but they were mostly fixed. One fridge wasn't cooling. One fridge was unplugged and leaking. Ice maker wasn't really working so they brought bags. No remote to the fan in one bedroom, and you couldn't work it otherwise. One bathroom was dirty. they gave us the wrong code for the beach. All white furniture 😬”

“I usually don’t leave long reviews but if you have time to read this please do so, it will save you a lot of headaches and disappointment. First of all this property is in no way cheap or affordable. It’s marketed to be luxury in rosemary. But it’s nowhere near what we expected or payed. First of all the place is a complete mess from the cleaning to the management. Our check in was at 4 pm we had to wait for cleaners to leave. I called they send another cleaner he also did not clean properly then they send a 3rd group to clean and they had to take photos for proof. Then the place is absolutely disgusting pee stains, sand and hair on the floor even broken nails. Furniture in this place is all stain and dirty broken swing, dirty hot tub that we never got to use bc they had to send pool tech twice. Then we got offered late check out just for them to call and say we had one hour to leave. Unprofessional, dirty, over priced. I mean I can go on and on I wish I could post photos. WASTE OF $$”

“Great location if you are looking to be right by the beach! Which we were, however the premium price paid didn’t match the interior. Too expensive for what you are getting, the fridge wasn’t working (put in an old fridge), a tile was cracked, the couch has stains all over. Also we booked wanting to pay for a late checkout which they said would accommodate however was not possible once I booked the place. This was why I asked before booking but I had to change our flights to leaver earlier because of this. Overall, the location was the what we wanted.”

“Bait and switch! Falsely advertised as seacrest. Received a link to register our vehicles, guest names, etc. we then received an email to pick up a welcome package upon arrival but were informed that we were not part of decrease hoa and should have never received an invitation. We contacted property manager and as I type this, we are still waiting for a response. This is not seacrest as advertised. The only pool we had access to is 2 feet deep. The beach is crowded. House was lovely but you are not receiving what is advertised.”

“Ok so the house has good bones, in a good location but it is not in rosemary beach as advertised. Even when they send the address the address continues to say rosemary beach but its inlet beach. It’s a short bike ride to rosemary (10-15 mins) and the same to the big chill. The house is worn. It needs a refresh desperately. The wood floors are stained, the furniture is stained, the towels are flimsey, the AC has issues and was super hot and humid in the common areas of the kitchen but the rooms were ok. Be prepared for A LOT of steps especially if you are on the 3rd and 4th floor. It’s a booty burner for sure. They maximize guest count so in some of the rooms you can’t even access the closet because the rooms are packed full of beds. The pool is nice and spacious which is a rarity in the area and they allowed it to be heated which we did utilize. I don’t know.. for $42k for 5 nights I expect a little bit more excellence especially with all of the 5 stars. It’s a nice house but need TLC”

“Home is very nice and we had a couple of hiccups but they quickly attempted to help. 3 of the 4 bikes worked and when requested assistance they acknowledged it but never provided a solution. This home is tucked in and a haul if you’re walking towards access to seacrest beach. We opted to drive to inlet beach, which was 5 mins away and didn’t have restrictions. I feel like for the price of this house everything should make sense but it didn’t. I imagine I’m being a bit particular but all the shower doors opened towards the shower head making it difficult to keep things dry outside of the shower. One of the bathrooms had a really tall vanity and extra long faucets that splashed everywhere when you washed your hands or brushed your teeth. The grill connected to the gas line was a nice touch. Another thing to keep in mind while booking, the pet fee is paid separately and you’re not given the door code until it’s paid. $250 for a 6lb dachshund”

“While the home itself is beautiful and offers many appealing features, I would strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance if you book with this host or considering booking with a different host. The week leading up to my trip, I was unexpectedly hospitalized and remained there through my scheduled stay. During an already difficult and stressful time, I reached out to request either a refund or the option to reschedule. Unfortunately, the host was not flexible and showed very little understanding of the situation. Ended up losing a lot of money due their lack care. Experiences like this emphasize the importance of compassion and reasonable accommodation when unforeseen circumstances arise. I hope the host reconsiders how situations like this are handled in the future. Overall, this was a very disappointing and stressful experience.”

“The home is beautiful, but basic supplies were not provided (garbage bags, dishwashing detergents) & the distance to the beach was further than expected and without access to the tram as we anticipated. We loved the area, the house is stunning and comfortable, but for the price, we would have appreciated more convenience to the beach.”
