Manager Review

Silver Street Management

Silver Street Management's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Excellent location, 50 steps from town and very close to Naval Academy. Nice place, as advertised. Would stay here again

I am not sure where to begin. Upon initially coming to this place, we were disappointed to see the pool area was dirty along with the pool, the bedding was all stained, and the trash outside had maggots coming out of it (it appeared to be left behind by the last people who stayed). The trash smelled so bad we were gagging when outside by the pool. The host was quick to message us back about our concerns, but ultimately never solved or helped with anything during our stay. He responded that the trash that we had access to was the owners storage area and the trash and trash cans we had seen and smelled was not intended for guest use...even though we had full access to this area and could see everything. He sent the cleaning ladies over but they wouldnt do anything about our issues. Our pool leaked faster than we could fill it up. Host finally got someone to come two days later the issue was brought to attention. Neighborhood is bad. Heard lots of screaming, yelling and gun shots.

This listing is charming and decorated so sweetly! Great neighborhood and we loved being able to walk places. Stayed ~ 1 week, have 2 young kids, cooked many meals at home. All of the stairs in the house are steep for those with limited mobility. Parking situation should have been more clear. The prop. mgr pushed using the garage, which didn't really work for us with young kids. Residents can buy visitor permits for $3/day and we asked if they could help us purchase, but were told no. Overall the kitchen/bathrooms felt a bit sparse (I know it's a new listing) but a few simple offerings would go a long way and I'm sure they'll continue to add things! This is a great listing for someone staying for a short trip and spending most of their time exploring out Annapolis!

Nice place, no parking. Beds aren’t the greatest.

The duplex is well-styled and the listing photos are accurate. It served its purpose for our group retreat. However, the booking process was unusually involved — requiring photo ID, guest ages, and travel purpose — and we received an unexpected security deposit request weeks after paying in full. On arrival, the exterior showed deferred maintenance: dead plants, a torn patio shade screen, and worn furniture. Inside, we found ants, flies, a lingering odor, and unpatched wall damage. Towels were few and small, kitchen supplies required us to purchase extras, and basic items like trash bags were nearly absent. The space has real potential, but the gap between the rigorous booking process and the property's actual condition was hard to ignore.

Overall generally pleased with the stay but there were several dead bugs to which the A.I. written response to my concerns was that this was purely evidence of pest control service working. I would agree with this but it is also purely evidence that the cleaners they hire are not as good as the bug killers. It’s getting really annoying to talk to nothing but Artificial Intelligence when you have something you want to say to the actual owner. Cleanliness and Smell was the only thing that bothered me. Location was great, beach was great, bars were great, bugs not so great 4/10.

Booked this for 2 nights with my wife and 2 children. AC was out which happens so it was pretty hot outside. Immediately let the host know and they responded saying that they would dispatch a tech for repair. I asked for a time frame and was told the next day. I had to wait and finally asked if anything could be done tonight and was told to open the windows. This is Florida and it's hot and humid even at night, there were mosquitos and half the windows didn't have screens, and a wasp nest on the back porch. That wasn't a good option. Asked if they had a portable ac unit I could borrow and they didn't. I explained that and was again not offered a solution. Asked if I could stay at another unit and way told yes, but it would only be a 1br unit. That doesn't work for 4 people. I had to ask for a refund and was offered $90 on an almost $500 2 night rental. My issue is not that the AC went out. It's their lack of communication and the fact I had to prompt them for a solution at every turn

Overall, the location was great, very walkable and convenient to everything we needed. The stay itself was fine, but there were a few issues worth noting. The shower only stayed hot for about five minutes, and after I mentioned it to the host, it wasn’t resolved during our stay. The blankets on the bed were extremely thin, and when I requested an extra one, the one provided had a strong smoke smell. Additionally, the kitchen was a bit under-equipped—we would have appreciated a baking tray and more than one plate available. There also wasn’t a designated parking spot for Unit D, and I was told to use street parking instead.

Good stay all together. Location made trip worth the small issues for a one time trip. Floors were very dirty…needs a good mop. Last guest’s dirty clothes were left behind in bedroom dresser. There was grease on the kitchen cabinet knobs over the stove and human hair and food crumbs in the silverware tray in kitchen. Overall felt like the property was over priced. It was nice enough for a beach trip but I could have easily secured an equivalent place for less. The view and the stay were still satisfactory. But I will be looking elsewhere next time for a better deal.

I stayed at airbnb property at 34 east lake drive Annapolis, MD. Check in 3/5/2026, check out 3/9/2026. upon arriving to the property, we noticed active mice and mice droppings in the bedrooms. we contacted airbnb host thru app with our concerns. they responded that they will inform management company and have pest control come once we check out. We had children in the home and active mice is a health hazard. clearly the home had not been cleaned prior to our arrival or they would have seen the mice droppings. I reached out to airbnb asking for refund for our stay and was directed to support network overseas. Airbnb informed me that I needed to resolve concern with host. I again reached out to host who offered me $250 refund for $4000 stay. I asked to speak with manager about a full refund. they called me and said they are only willing to offer $250 for our stay. I informed them that I am a physician and it is against the law to have rental property with active mice.
