“The room was as described however there was a road closure right in front of the property. When we called, the person on the phone was aware of the Shrimp Festival but did not notify us about the detour needed to take in order to get to the property. There was loud music playing outside as well as people yelling at night. The bed was also uncomfortable.”

“En su anuncio dice que cuenta con área de lavado y secadora en el departamento, lo cual es mentira. También dice que la llegada al departamento es autónoma y también es mentira. Hay que llegar primero a recepcion para que ahí te den una tarjeta con el número del código para la entrada que por cierto la persona encargada de esto muy grosera, así que yo no recomendaría este lugar para nada”

“We stayed for one night. The location was great, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall condition of the property were disappointing. The cleaning seemed to be mostly surface-level; when we pulled out the couch, there was dirt and chip crumbs underneath it. Several pieces of furniture were also quite old and heavily worn and, in our opinion, are at the point where they should be replaced. The shower/tub was another concern. There was a crack that had been covered with duct tape, which caused the tub to dip when standing on it and made it feel unsafe. Overall, the location and staff were definitely positives, but considering the price, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep.”

“A little outdated; bathtub not the cleanest; dusty area especially on louvre doors; could clean bathroom and kitchen a little better. Room needs minor repair such as walls, repair slow drain in bathtub, just needs a little better cleaning. Excellent location.”

“The condo was nice, our family enjoyed their stay! The washer and dryer had a moldy smell, other than that it was great! There is also a pack n play and high chair which helped out tremendously! Will definitely be back. 😊”

“The location was fantastic with a short walk to the beach. The photos of the interior showed the property immediately after a new kitchen and paint job as the current condition looks a bit tired and in need of a re-do. There are no curtains in one of the bedrooms and the other bedroom had no curtains on the window of a door that had a security light all night and sunlight all day.”

“All cookware had to be washed. The shower in the master had mold and mildew. The carpet was heavily stained in all areas. There was a parade of ants in the master and living space. No ceiling fans as advertised. Needs a lot of maintenance in all areas. Overall, we found the place warm and dirty.”

“The location was great. The home was large and spacious. Needs massive deep clean and update of furnishings. The shower doors downstairs did not open, the shower curtain in middle bathroom completely fell off upon opening and we could not put it back. The glass doors were obviously broken because they were in garage. Toilet Paper holders fell off wall upon first turn, garage doors often did not close. The biggest issue was the kitchen freezer was non-operational as it was BOLTED to the wall. The kitchen refrigerator was 79 when we arrived and 4 days later it was 76 so we could not use it. There was a small working refrigerator/freezer in garage on a separate floor that worked but was very inconvenient. Sandy shores replied one time upon arrival when notified of issue. Never heard back from them again after multiple emails/messages through Airbnb they did not respond the entire stay.”

“Sadly the condo was not what we expected at all. From the moment we walked in we immediately noticed that it smelled horrible. It was musty and smelt like it had mold, super wet and uncomfortable. The floors even felt wet and our items began too as well. Even sleeping at night we felt wet and sticky. We reached out trying to get help and nobody was helpful even though we had a medical needs son with us with a trach and g-tube. We wanted a peaceful getaway and was very uncomfortable and worried the whole time that he would become sick because of the condo. When maintaince did come by all they wanted to do is spray some spray in the vent that included bleach but we couldn’t have that around our son that has the trach when we asked to be moved they told us they would reach back out and we never heard anything else. Do not recommend.”
