“I do not think I can adequately express how amazing this place is. We came for a wedding, got stuck in a hurricane, spent most of our 5 days indoors and still have nothing but superlatives to describe the house. The memory of our visit will stick with us forever. We gave 5 stars for every aspect and feel like we are not doing this house justice. It deserves way more than 5 stars.”

“This home is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice! The back yard is a tropical oasis with trails and a hot tub. There is every kind of fancy coffee machine you could want, as well as, all the small kitchen appliances you may want (even a popcorn popper). We left as a hurricane was coming in and the rental company reached out to us beforehand to assist us in making arrangements if we needed to adjust our stay due to the storm. They were very helpful and willing to accommodate us. Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend this home!”

“A wonderful stay at Jessica’s place. Very well appointed with everything you could need. Super clean and spacious. En-suite bathrooms were great! We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching and listening to the waves crash. Air conditioning in the sleeping areas would be a welcome addition for those not accustomed to the high humidity, but fans were provided. Definitely recommend this place!”

“The property is clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly hidden away—surrounded by mature plants and trees that make it feel completely private. The outdoor space is generous, and the landscaping is pristine. Inside, the living space is cozy and filled with natural light from an impressive skylight. The beds are comfortable with ocean waves crashing against the rocks for a soothing sleep. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, but the real highlight was the gorgeous view—we even spotted sea turtles swimming, right from the property! Easy access to local sites, good restaurants in Hilo and the Hawaiian Volcano National Park where we viewed Kilauea lava flows. Our host, Jessica, was very responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway and hope to return soon.”

“We loved the Hilo area. It was quiet and the road/path next to the house was perfect for running in the morning. If you go past richardsons out of town, look out for dogs. It rains a lot there but the house has a nice space that is outside but stays dry. The manager was really responsive and brought us a replacement coffee bean grinder when the current one broke, the same day! Hilo has a great area for snorkeling, we would walk down to richardsons several times a day. Thank you for sharing the home”

“Jessica was a great host. She gave me thorough and easy to follow instructions. She quickly responded to any of my messages. The property was great! The place looked exactly like the photographs. The location felt safe and is in a very quiet location. The assigned parking spot was also great bonus. The property is situated close to many walkable stores and great places to eat. The room had great views of Hilo, and was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this family friendly place to anyone planning to visit Hilo!”

“We wanted to stay in Volcano for our trip as a central location for the entire windward coast of the Big Island. This place was perfect for what we needed. The landscape is lush and shields from neighbors. The lanai in the front was the perfect place to relax after a long day, especially with that swinging bed. The inside was cozy, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The hosts were very communicative and responsive.”
