“I do not think I can adequately express how amazing this place is. We came for a wedding, got stuck in a hurricane, spent most of our 5 days indoors and still have nothing but superlatives to describe the house. The memory of our visit will stick with us forever. We gave 5 stars for every aspect and feel like we are not doing this house justice. It deserves way more than 5 stars.”

“A wonderful stay at Jessica’s place. Very well appointed with everything you could need. Super clean and spacious. En-suite bathrooms were great! We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching and listening to the waves crash. Air conditioning in the sleeping areas would be a welcome addition for those not accustomed to the high humidity, but fans were provided. Definitely recommend this place!”

“Such a beautiful place with great views! Loved the ocean mist! Was great for 3 adults and everyone getting their own space. Everything was as pictured. Views were even more beautiful in person.”

“The property is clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly hidden away—surrounded by mature plants and trees that make it feel completely private. The outdoor space is generous, and the landscaping is pristine. Inside, the living space is cozy and filled with natural light from an impressive skylight. The beds are comfortable with ocean waves crashing against the rocks for a soothing sleep. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, but the real highlight was the gorgeous view—we even spotted sea turtles swimming, right from the property! Easy access to local sites, good restaurants in Hilo and the Hawaiian Volcano National Park where we viewed Kilauea lava flows. Our host, Jessica, was very responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway and hope to return soon.”

“The views from this house are stunning and the main reason we booked here–it did not disappoint! I will note that it is a little older looking in person than in the pictures but the eclectic vibe is part of the charm. It is definitely warm since there is no AC but we didn’t spend much time here during the day so it didn’t bother us, and it was perfectly fine and relaxing for sleeping at night with the windows open. The house was very well equipped and even had binoculars! We wanted a central location that was less than an hour from Volcano National Park and Hilo and this area fit our needs!”
