“This cabin in the middle of nature was absolutely amazing, and in reality it was even nicer than in the photos. It is only about ten minutes from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park, so for anyone hoping to wait for an eruption, this is a fantastic place to stay. The kitchen had the basic things needed, there was also a dehumidifier that you will definitely appreciate, and the whole place was wonderfully quiet. Outside, we saw small wild piglets and pheasants, which made the stay even more special. You can definitely hear the coqui frogs at night. It is a bit annoying at first, but also a unique experience that somehow belongs to the place, and in the end we even missed it a little after we left.”
