“We had an enjoyable stay at the cabin, and just a few changes would push it to be a 5-star stay. The cabin was easy to find, and I had no trouble getting to it without AWD/4WD (even on a rainy day). It was very private while still being just a few minutes from Miguel’s, Thatcher’s, Natural Bridge State Park, etc. The space was wonderful—the two bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen table in the middle of the cabin was a great spot for board games. We also loved the hot tub. My suggestions for improvement: The seating options were not super comfortable. The leather sofa from the listing photos has been replaced with a pretty hard couch. There was room for a cozy chair that would have been great to curl up in with a book. We loved having a grill, but there were no grilling utensils. A simple pair of metal tongs and spatula would have been a welcome addition. Overall, a really good stay.”

“My husband and I had a great weekend getaway at The Gorge. We loved the tiny home and didn't mind the lack of Wi-Fi and cell signal! That was clearly mentioned in the description, and it was nice to disconnect. The house sits right next to a main road, so if you are looking for something more secluded, this might not be the place for you. You are steps from Martins Fork Trailhead, so that was a plus! It was close to many other things as well. Our only major con here was the water issue. I was reluctant to book due to the multiple reviews about lack of water, water pressure, dirty water, etc. It did specifically mention in the description "Due to a high amount of reviews referring to the water issues, this problem has been addressed and fixed." It was not fixed. The host did refund us a portion of the stay. For the price, you expect to have running water to shower after long hiking days. Hopefully they find a permanent solution to the problem. It really is a cute place! Very clean!”

“This place is absolutely beautiful and the cabin was very nice! The only issue my husband and I had is very occasionally it would smell like sewer outside, not sure if it was just a leak or not. But overall, great experience! The address is wrong on the listing but we sent a chat to the host and was able to get the correct coordinates!”

“This cabin was just okay, it is pet friendly so some things are to be expected but there was a concerning amount of dog hair in the upstairs bed. We moved from the downstairs bed to the upstairs due to the rodent running in the wall of the bedroom downstairs not allowing us to sleep the best. The cabin is pretty although kind of small but perfect for just 2 people. The hot tub was very nice. There was some confetti left over on the floor maybe from a party of the previous guest not a huge deal. Just felt for almost $800 for 2 days things would be a hair better. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.”

“Definitely need a four by four roads are steep and needs work Could use some new pots and pans and mixing bowls and dish rags not just one sponge bring your own spices and oils nothing there Supplied toliet paper and one roll of paper towels but nothing else Has washer and dryer so bring your own tide and softener noting supplied Place was peaceful and green cool rocks and tiny caves Could use floors swept and dusted in some places and could use some throws for the couch to watch movies and games were only a few kids games We did enjoy ourselves went to lots of places near by lots of trails and beautiful areas to walk and restaurants were good we went to just had to google them will come back to the area again thank you”

“Beautiful cabin with great amenities. Super trendy and cute. But beware of the horrible management. Beware of the roaches. And beware of the unsafe “road” conditions trying to get out of the property. I rented this property for a lowkey girls weekend for my sister’s bachelorette. We were so happy with the cabin and space upon arrival and had a great first night using all the amenities. But the next morning is when it went all downhill, literally. Due to lack of maintenance to the VERY steep gravel hill, used as the only entry/exit point of the property, we got stuck at the cabin. The recent rain and lack of gravel on the hill had obviously caused issues for previous renters and there were large holes and muddy divots. We immediately contacted the management and they were very unhelpful and inconsiderate. We completely missed our prepaid kayaking trip that morning. The management was rude and wasn’t going to offer us any compensation for having to call a tow truck.”

“This cabin was a nice, cozy, private location which was exactly what my fiancé and I needed as a weekend away to take our daughter hiking. The cleaning crew was unfortunately just arriving around the same time we were so there were several spider webs throughout the home, a bag of aluminum cans under the sink, and several mud dauber nets along the decking. I also feel like the inconvenience of this location was under played…. The cabin is down two very steep gravel roads and sits in a valley. It rained quite hard one of the days we were there and my fiancé’s car had significant trouble getting out.”

“I’ve stayed at many cabins so I’m aware there are certain things that can’t be helped, such as random critters occasionally and discolored water. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired and is something that can be controlled. Especially given the price. The shower was clearly not cleaned in-between stays. There was hair on both walls and visible mold all along the tiles. Mold is a health hazard and it’s pretty unacceptable that it is being left like this. There were other areas lacking cleanliness as well. The fridge had mold starting to stain the door seams and there were little bugs in one of the produce drawers. Outside, it doesn’t look like the chairs for the campfire have been cleaned off in a long time. There was also a very noticeable muggy moldy smell in the place. The stairs leading up badly need more gravel. I feel like it needs an extreme deep clean and maintenance before continuing to rent out. Great location, minus the loud roads within sight. Beds were comfy.”

“The house and the area are very pretty. It was mostly peaceful except. for the loud construction down the road and the neighbors arguing late. The description say no 4 wheel drive needed and there are photos of a driveway in front of a porch. Well what they neglect to mention is that you can not use the driveway unless you have 4 wheel drive. There is even a sign. So you have to carry everything down a steep unlevel gravel incline about 50 feet. Well my wife is on oxygen and has limited mobility. She was extremely upset by this surprise. After we got her to the cabin safely, she was unable to leave and go do any activities with us because of having to hike up & down this hill safely for her was very difficult. Now it did not say it was handicap friendly, but the pictures made it out to be. Only 1 step up from the driveway, every place she would need to be on the first floor. If we would have known what she would have to do to get into the cabin, we would not have booked this unit.”
