Roelens Vacations
4.69Visit website
Roelens Vacations's guest rating of 4.69 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Love how close the house was to the beach and the pool was the best feature of the house. Most of the furniture was noticeable old and the bottom bunk bed fell through and needed to be fixed while we stayed. Overall though I would recommend and stay again.”airbnb

“Besides the view and the house which is the only thing that saved this house from a 1 star. The pool was at 89 degrees while outside temperature was 90. No human being with a small brain would get in that pool nor think that the temperature is at a “good” degree. Maybe at night, it not at 1pm while it’s 90 degrees outside. The hose was super unhelpful, we were locked out of their WiFi the last 2 nights and didn’t even bother saying anything.. i gave them permission to communicate with my son because i suffer from the heart, his name is Kevin Pizzolo who has over 20 reservations with Airbnb! Worse experience ever”airbnb

“Place and location are fabulous but needed more on sight supplies, no dish soap, one garbage bag, no recycle though it mentioned it”airbnb

“I just want to say I booked this Airbnb for about a week and I had to cancel it due to a unforeseen emergency with my kid and I asked for a refund and they denied me. They denied me a partial refund I never made it and I cancelled two days into the week. They had enough time to rebook and the days I held it I accepted that I wouldn't get that money back for it. And they still denied me! Policy or not some consideration would have been nice.”airbnb

“Upon arrival, the home was in unacceptable condition—stained and soiled bedding, hair and debris throughout, unsanitary kitchen drawers/cabinets, mold & mouse droppings. We reported this immediately but received no assistance the first night. The following day, a cleaning crew finally arrived but we spent hours cleaning ourselves, losing a full day of our vacation. The oven did not work from arrival until it was finally replaced seven days later, leaving us without a key amenity for most of our stay and forcing us to purchase our own cooking equipment. When it was replaced, parts and screws were left on the floor & the old oven remained in the yard. Combined with broken items, rusted furniture, and low-quality, mismatched linens & equipment, the home fell far below expectations for a $4,600 rental. Nine service providers were in and out thru our stay. The property itself was beautiful, but the condition of the home & lack of timely resolution made for a very disappointing stay.”airbnb

“The location was nice, we were a quick walk to the beach and the wagon/bikes/beach chairs were amazing to have available to use whenever. There were pleanty of towels/linens/blankets. The kitchen was amazing, the bedrooms were spacious and the main living room was nice. Also, having a washer and dryer was wonderful! However, the porch daybed had a weird mattress and the fans right by the bed didn't work, we ended up moving our daughter to the 2nd living room that had couch that converted into a bed. Also, the pool area needed attention, there were cobwebs/debris all over, the screen enclosure was broken, and within a couple days the pool had algae which wasn't cleaned until the pool maintenance came late in our stay. The kayaks looked like they hadn't been used in a while and the hammock was dirty and not usable. For our first time chosing a location in a place we had never been, it was fine, but it just wasn't exactly what we expected based on the description and photos.”airbnb

“This rental is a catfish. This house is infested with huge cockroaches. We told management about it and they allegedly ordered pest control, which never showed. Management stopped communicating about it. The house is filthy. Crumbs and dust under every bed, in cracks of the couch. Low budget bedding. Low budget kitchen utensils, cookware. There is exposed wires on the front patio. There are exposed wire near the swimming pool. My son stepped on a reverse screw poking through the concrete near the pool. The pool table room is too small to actually use the pool table, but that’s ok because the pool table is broken. The bed in the second room is broken (slates). After booking management hounded us with messages, to include attempting to garner a pet fee despite “all fees and taxes being included. My wife stubbed her toe in the broken concrete near the pool. This house is a low end rental. All furniture is hand me down, repainted, chipping, etc. Overall a very bad experience, *ROACHES!!!*”airbnb

“Great location, very spacious. However, we were relying on using the foldout couches for sleeping quarters. 1 was completely broke, had to contact them twice, dealt with 2 repair visits, and ended with “it’s broke and needs replaced” with zero follow up. We were down a bed. Also, the upstairs ceiling fan completely broke, same exact thing. Was told it just needs replaced and never went any further. Had to use a noise box fan. The floor is also peeling up in the master and a piece got stuck in my foot at one point. The place is not is great shape. Decorated, but not functional. Mattress also left a lot to be desired for. The water was great, I did appreciate that.”airbnb

“The “heated “ pool was 76degrees when we arrived.. Manager claimed it was working and gave us the runaround all week. Had me try to fix it. Never had the pool service come even though we told them when we got there it wasn’t working. Never addressed it and literally still haven’t responded to the concerns despite multiple texts and calls to the manager and to the office and the supervisor.”airbnb

“TERRIBLE HOST -WOULD NOT RETURN!!! Property is BEAUTIFUL including the pool. Listed as "BRAND NEW LUXURY." For it being a luxury property, the amenities are less than mediocre. The cooking pots, pans, cooking tools, utensils, etc. were poor quality. THE POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER BY A HOST! The pool was listed as a heated pool and was supposed to be warm and on arrival it was 73. We immediately contacted the host who continually gave us the run around. NO MANAGER from the company ever contacted us and we sent numerous messages and spent hours on the phone in attempt to have it fixed. It was NEVER addressed or repaired. We spoke with reps who attempted to contact Lori (property manager) who refused to address our concerns or return calls. I would NOT recommend any property that Roelens Vacations oversees. We are frequent travelers and this was the poorest customer service we have experienced. The host clearly DID NOT CARE about the renters concerns!”airbnb
