Rent Door County's guest rating of 4.74 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Our family has stayed at this Airbnb two times and have loved staying there both times. It's a wonderful location, especially being a block down the street from Ephraim Public Beach. We plan on returning next summer!”airbnb

“The view is AMAZING! Even better in person. The house was stocked well and very spacious. Plenty of bathroom space. We were able to walk down the bike paths to the downtown area in less than 10 minutes. This is a MUST stay!”airbnb

“This place was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the marina. Loved the comfortable furnishings and beautifully equipped kitchen. This unit had a great basement for kids and teens. Would definitely stay here again!! Highly recommend.”airbnb

“Door County is a nice area. The house is well located with a very nice outside space and the interior is beautiful architecturally. The large sofa was attractive but very uncomfortable to sit on. The upstairs bedroom ceiling fan did not work. There is ample drawer space but no guest closet space in the upstairs bedroom. The front door latch came apart upon returning one evening requiring us to "break in" (it was reassembled by a locksmith the following morning). This is the only rental at which we have been required to launder the towels. Bring coffee with you as there is no starter supply. The property management office closes at 4 PM -- the same time as check in -- so any issues upon arrival will have to be handled by the emergency service. All in all, not a terrible rental experience but certainly not our best.”airbnb

“I loved the shoreline availability and that a grill and fire pit were on the property for guest use. Only wish they allowed pets, really wanted to bring my 2 older dogs with.”airbnb

“The location of the cabin was very peaceful and had beautiful surroundings. The cabin itself was just as pictured, great layout, cute, and cozy. The queen bed was decent, definitely more firm. Pillows were not great, personally. They provide one pillow per person, they do not have extra pillows, only decorative pillows. We had issues trying to log into some streaming services. They streaming services required updates which required signing into a Google acct.. The kitchen had a decent amount of cookware and spices. However they do not provide any coffee or tea. They also do not provide paper towels, and a small amount of toilet paper, nor do they provide any shampoo, or conditioner, just a small bar of body soap. The instructions they have about keys is not relevant to this rental. They make you put the flat sheet on the bed, which we found strange. The checkout requirements are a lot for the price you pay. However, the space is really nice and we enjoyed the porches and fire pit.”airbnb

“The location is great and views from the house are beautiful. The beds are comfortable. All rooms are on the 2nd floor. There was no watercraft available. The kitchen and bathrooms were not clean (very dirty dishes and pans in the cupboards and body hair, grime and stains in the tub). The septic alarm went off the first night we were there and the water smelled of sulfur terribly the whole stay. We kept drinking water and used it for all drinking, cooking and teeth brushing. There was an infestation of asian lady beetles in the kids room. The beds were not made, the top sheet was folded on top of most of the beds to be put on yourself. The top bunk bed did not have a bottom sheet on the bed either. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals in Wisconsin and never experienced this before which they say in their guest book is a suggestion from the state. We were glad we didn’t get there late at night. Hate to leave a bad review but there were too many issues to not mention them.”airbnb
