“My family mostly had a nice stay at Heather's beachfront townhouse. However, we lost water due to a broken pipe which meant no running water for over 24 hours including one night. The owner and manager during this time didn't communicate with us regarding status of the repair so we packed up and prepared to leave that 2nd night without water. The plumber luckily repaired the pipe into the 2nd evening, and we stayed for our last day. Otherwise, the beachfront location is very nice and the house is mostly as advertised. We were able to overlook some of the neglect and deferred maintenance, such as loose floorboards and screws on the deck. But the water situation was a significant inconvenience, and the owner is unwilling to refund us even a day's pro-rata rate for the rental. At approximately $1k/night, i feel like its not a very good value, especially if you encounter issues during your stay.”

“Perfect location!! 2 houses down from beach access and across the street from the starboard for food, drinks, breakfast and live music streets. No need to uber on this trip everything is walkable to the bars. The house is clean, well decorated, and outdoor shower and screened in front porch were a hit! Downside is because it’s run by a rental company and not an individual family there are no household basics. Must bring your own sheets, pillowcases, toilet paper, paper towels, and all beach supplies.”

“I have stayed here before and absolutely love this property. It is clean, tastefully decorated, in a great location, and has very comfortable beds! The only things I didn’t love were the late check-in time (4:00 p.m.) and the very early check-out time (10:00 a.m.). In addition, you are required to either rent your own linens or bring them yourself. This includes beach towels, bath towels, sheets, and pillowcases. For the price you are paying to stay here, I would expect linens to be included. That said, the property itself is lovely, and I would definitely stay here again.”

“Place was clean and nice. A lot of paperwork outside the app and first time at an Airbnb where I had to pay for sheets but other than that no issues.”

“Each individual space was nice and fairly clean. The layout was odd in that the kitchen was on the first floor and the living space was on the third floor. Be prepared to pay a lot in parking if driving to Bethany. It would have been nice to have a parking permit included. Also, there were no beach chairs or umbrellas included, and it didn't seem to have amentities like the other surrounding houses such as chairs on the back patio or a gas grill. It also said it came with kitchen linens, but there were none there. It was mostly clean, but one of the showers had hair still in the basin, and one of the comforters had to be washed on arrival due because of dog hair.”

“Bad communication from the whole team and did not meet our needs when the AC was BROKE!!!! When we arrived, the air was not working. It was 14 degrees warmer than what it was set to. The host told us it would cool down. As time went on, it kept getting hotter. I told the host the compressor wasn’t working. They kept telling me it would be fine, then would not respond to me at all. They kept ignoring my messages, and as a result the house was at 88 degrees during a heat wave for more than 24 hours. Horrible communication and problem solving from the host. Extremely upset and it ruined our trip. Beware before you book that you won’t need any contact with anyone because they won’t answer. The back room also had some ants”

“Overall, we had a good stay and the home worked well for our group. Check-in was very easy, the house was spacious, and the large kitchen was perfect for cooking and gathering together. The lay out of the bedrooms and bathrooms made everyone feel like they had some privacy. It’s also a short 10ish minute walk to the beach & close to many restaurants. That said, there were a few downsides. The checkout instructions felt excessive, especially considering the cost of the rental. Guests are expected to complete a long list of cleaning tasks before leaving, which made checkout feel stressful. The 10:00 AM checkout time also felt early given everything that needed to be done. Additionally, linens were not included and had to be rented separately or brought from home, which was surprising for a rental at this price point. Overall, it’s a nice house for a large group, but I’d recommend being prepared for a longer than usual checkout process, especially if have a large group.”

“Location is unbeatable which is what made this stay a good experience for us. Large rolling bins were provided by the condo building which helped us easily get all our stuff from the garage to the unit. Unit itself is no frills but has what you need. This listing is managed by Remax which meant that there were lengthy automated messages during the reservation process. It was frustrating to sift thru the info to determine what applied to our rental. There were whole paragraphs about gate codes, pets, beach access rules, instructions to use an app that didn't apply to us, broken hyperlinks, and conflicting info about pool hours and quiet hours compared to posted information from the condo building itself. Remax staff were responsive and professional via messages but we had issues with the lock being tricky our whole stay and troubleshooting extended only to say if it breaks off in the lock let us know. The pick up/drop off process for the keys and passes was easy.”

“The location is fabulous. Upon arrival on a HOT day, the AC wasn't working and was never repaired through our entire week. As the weather cooled considerably, the heat also didn't work then. Went from 95 inside the home to 60. We couldn't use several of the bedrooms because they were too hot.....and then too cold! Remax is the property management company and they definitely didn't work hard to solve the problem. I'm uncertain they even had an agent walk the property prior to our rental. For the price, it was very disappointing.”

“I think heather’s place is a fine place to stay in rehoboth. perhaps we suffered from being the season opener but we ran into multiple issues. We had to press the team at remax to provide parking passes which is relatively standard which they did obtain just as we were arriving. The hot tub on arrival was half empty and dirty. They were unable to get it ready to go and it never got above 86 degrees. The HVAC was behind some sort of passcode that even after asking for it was never told to us. Luckily it was a chillier weekend so opening the windows helped. I imagine as the season progresses these issues will be solved for future guests. We did receive a partial refund through AirBnB which was appreciated.”
