“Didn't receive check in info until I called on the day of check in. Called the day before and was not able to leave a message. Once in the condo, the smell of bleach was so strong our eyes were burning. Had to open doors to air out. No rugs to wipe your feet so sand was tracked all throughout. The dishwasher and refrigerator are not level. Had to fight the door on the refrigerator to stay open and every time you open the dishwasher the top rack would come out. And lastly there was a roach in the kitchen. Took a picture and sent it thru air b & b messanger. Never got a response. Celadon 1609”

“Great location, great amenities. Condo itself could use some maintenance and the communication could improve. A plumber was there when we arrived and we weren’t made aware of it. Some issues with cleanliness as well as lacking in things, such as no salt and pepper or no oven mitts. Overall decent place, walkable to a lot and very convenient to beach and amenities”

““The condo was beautiful and the views were amazing. However, there were a couple of issues that impacted the stay. Beach towels were not provided, the smoke detectors are uktra sensitive; even luke warm showers set them off. More importantly, maintenance attempted to enter the unit without knocking or announcing themselves. Fortunately, the door was latched and prevented entry. The host was slow to respond when contacted about the issue. While we enjoyed the property itself, the maintenance incident was concerning and affected our overall experience.””

“Great place to stay and whoever the owner is has a great place. However, 1st morning we were awakened to a concrete saw at 8am. 2nd morning, lawn crew was weed trimming at 7:30am. We were not expecting early morning noise at a vacation rental! Reached out to Realjoy and they said that there was nothing they could do because quiet time is 10pm - 7am. Paperwork in the rental said quiet time was 10pm - 10am. If it wasn’t for that I could give a better review.”

“The condo was clean and as pictured, rugs were older but not a deal breaker. They had lots of beach items in the cabin that you could use-- chairs, umbrella, wagon, etc. Communication is slow-- we had two issues. One issue to mention is the dryer left big black marks (like sharpie or crayon) all over our clothes. It ruined many expensive clothing items and a shirt from Seaside that we had just bought. When I reported it, they asked for pictures-- sent them in and was disappointed that they only said they would fix for the next guest. Arrival instructions were not clear, we didn't know where to go bc the main gate is further down and not called the same as the condo building, also my email hadn't been loaded in the arrival portal to get the codes and had to wait on those. Overall, middle of the road place but probably wouldn't stay there again.”

“The area was fine and the pool was clean. The room itself had a moldy/musky odor we had to go buy air fresheners. The main bedroom shower wasn’t clean and the shower curtain was dirty we had to go buy cleaning supplies and a clear shower curtain. They did send maintenance to fix it after we already did it. The maintenance ppl barged in the room , we had no safety latch for the toddler. The bed was a bit hard and pillows flat so we bought more pillows too and left them for the next guest. We only could find one roll of tissue the entire stay. We weren’t comfortable until we deep cleaned it and put up air fresheners. The condo need some improvement maybe clean the carpet and scrub the floors. And change out the old shower curtain and update the living room furniture. It wasn’t a bad stay just need some small upgrades.”

“Some of the instructions are not clear as far what entrance to use (there are two entrance but apparently one is private). Parking instructions for permit not clear either. Since security guard only gives temporary parking permit and long term parking permit it’s inside Airbnb, but that’s not what instructions say. As far as communication thru Airbnb app is very slow, I will need assistance to check in, no response. I needed assistance to lock door (not provided on check in instructions), also no response. Had a small incident of intoxicated people knocking door very late at night, sent a message to host & no response. Even when I check out I sent a message and no response. Now, most of the times I had to call another number to get assistance but will get different answers. Also, on Airbnb app says host can take up to 4 hrs to reply but it was always more than 6-8 hrs to get a response. Also, smell of weed on the first floor was crazy. Beautiful place but just those things that ruined.”

“This place doesn’t need to be a listing. It was trouble from the arrival. The unit had a smell, toilets ran much longer than usual. I did not see the review about ROACHES until after my stay but this place had ROACHES and they seemed to not believe it and said no one had ever reported it. A unit in the same building also had roaches. We could not cook or be comfortable with leaving anything out. No one should have to deal with this on vacation or any place. Please do not rent this place. It was a horrible place and stressful with the back and forth about the roaches. We did request and receive a partial refund.”

“Overall it felt as if you all were not prepared for our visit. 1. The houses were not clean upon arrival. The floors were dirty and still full of sand. The bathrooms were also dirty and had sand in the bottom of the tub. Their were also personal items left in the bathroom from previous tenants . So while we should have been unpacking, we had to wait for the house to be cleaned. 2. The pool was dirty upon arrival. The second day our kids could not swim until 10:00 because you all scheduled pool maintenance during our stay and not before. 3. The house had roaches, while we were trying to cook dinner the first night, we couldn't put our food on the counter top due to the constant crawling of roaches. 4.Several pieces of furniture had substantial stains, making them feel dirty. 5. The yard was unkept, grass over grown and massive fire ant hill by the back door Beautiful property, but it is not being maintained well at all.”

“Location is great. Overall the house needs a-lot of work done to it. Master bed is bowed and headboard is not attached properly so every little move it shifted you to the center and made noises on the wall from the headboard. Living room furniture has stains and is overly worn. When you sat on the couch the cushions sank into the pullout bed leaving your legs on the hard board. Floors aren’t mopped. Sent a message over 24 hours ago and still haven’t gotten a response. Who we booked with isn’t who the listing was still with at the time of our trip. So I’m guessing new ownership happened between booking and our stay.. The price we paid for this home and the outcome of the inside was very disappointing. Please update all inside furniture.”
