Manager Review

PremiumRentals

PremiumRentals's guest rating of 4.76 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Overall the house was mostly as expected, and enjoyable. The completely non-responsive host, especially given a non-functional dishwasher, was unfortunate, however. We'd stay again, assuming better host communication and fully functioning amenities.”

“We really enjoyed the gorgeous view of the Grand Tetons and the peaceful, quiet setting of this property. The game room was a wonderful, well utilized addition, and the newly renovated bedrooms were comfortable and nicely done. There were, however, a few areas that need attention. We did encounter mice in the bedrooms, and the basement had a somewhat musty odor. We also noticed several areas around the property that presented tripping hazards. The deck in particular appears to be in need of significant repairs. Some of the railings were leaning in, boards were sticking up, and areas around the steps need to be improved for safety. Communication with the hosts was also somewhat challenging during check-in. The door codes provided initially did not work, and it took about 30 minutes to receive a response and new codes, which was frustrating after arriving at the property. With some maintenance, safety improvements, and more responsive communication, this would be a great place to stay.”

“We couldn't get into the house on time, we waited outside in the heat with small children because the code to get in was given to us wrong. The inside hadn't been cleaned on months, washer and dryer were both full on arrival. Under the couch was broken glass. We found cocroaches. We had to do our own cleaning of all the rooms to be able to sit and sleep in peace. We couldn't use the ceiling fans in any of the rooms due to dust buildup. House needs a very deep cleaning. I have pictures to prove all of this and sent to host and nothing was done to fix these issues.”

“This listing stated it can accommodate 14 people. We needed a place for 9, and when we checked in, there were not enough beds. We messaged the host with no response. It has now been 10 days and we still have had zero response from the host. We were on a family trip where we were working to move a home. We came in late, with a big group of dirty sweaty people who ALL needed a shower and only one of the two showers was functioning. Again, no response from the host when we messaged about the shower. The shower in the master bathroom didn’t turn on when we needed it, and then later in the night, it started running and wouldn’t stop, preventing me from sleeping. Half of our group went and paid for a hotel and we requested a partial refund, and again have had no response from host. I have NEVER had a host be so unresponsive in all the Airbnbs I’ve stayed in over the years. It’s so frustrating and infuriating!”

“The pet hair in the carpet was not inviting, The master shower unable to access first night, no instructions. Remaining shower had slow drain water backup. When alerted they left some draino and a tool for Us to use to get the clog out ourselves…not very professional”

“I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share our experience. Upon arrival, the property was not in the condition promised. The kitchen faucet was ripped out, the kitchen was unclean, and similar issues were found throughout the home. Towels were stained, bathrooms had broken towel racks, and the jacuzzi didn’t work. We found discarded tissues under the beds, dirty socks in a closet, and a used bloody arm wrap under a bed blanket. The game room had a strong chemical odor, and the house smelled musty with pet odor. Trash outside added to the impression of poor preparation. The “separate” unit above the garage wasn’t as private as described, requiring the occupant to walk in front of the children’s game room. I’m disappointed to leave a poor review because this home could be great with better upkeep and cleaning. However, our experience didn’t meet the standards we expected or were advertised. I hope the host addresses these issues for future guests.”

“This was, without question, the worst Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. We found rodent droppings in every bedroom, every bathroom, the kitchen, and the living room. We immediately notified the host and spent part of our vacation cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing the house ourselves because we didn’t feel comfortable staying in those conditions. The next morning, we woke up to fresh rodent droppings in the kitchen again, and rodents had gotten into our dog’s food. That was the final straw, and we left a night early. We also arrived to molded coffee in the coffee pot, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and towels left in the dryer. A cleaning fee refund did not come close to addressing the sanitation issues or the fact that our vacation was cut short. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property.”

“The house was beautiful and clean, however the hosts did not leave any welcome or check out instructions. I had to message the hosts because the address was not provided when I did our pre-check in the morning of our stay, I had to message again because there were no instructions to login to the wifi, and finally message again to get access to the pool. The house did not have a hair dryer as described so I was un prepared for my trip. And basic cleaning supplies were very limited for our group size and length stay. I want to give this host a great review but I feel they dropped the ball on a lot of basic things that I have not experienced at other air bnb stays.”

“I would not stay here again. Problems started before arrival when we were informed at 3:17 PM on check-in day that check-in would be delayed until 6:00 PM. Upon arrival, the home was dirty and poorly maintained. The refrigerator had not been cleaned, the upstairs toilet would not flush, there were wet stains throughout the carpeting, and multiple items were broken or damaged. The air conditioning was also not working properly. When I contacted the host, it took approximately 16 hours to receive a response. Guests are also not allowed to lower the thermostat below 73 upstairs. If this is a house rule, it should be clearly disclosed in the listing. I would not have rented the property had I known this. The host requested access to the property multiple times during our stay and acknowledged many of the issues when I raised them. Even after a handyman visit, the upstairs toilet remained unusable. Overall, the property was not clean, not well maintained, and communication was poor.”

“We rented this home for our daughter’s wedding week and were extremely disappointed by the condition of the property. After arriving late following a 12 hour travel day, we discovered dirty bed linens and had to wash them before we could go to sleep. Unfortunately, the issue extended far beyond the bedding. Most common areas were unusable due to dirty furniture and heavily stained carpets. We wore shoes inside the entire stay and ended up using only the bedrooms and dining chairs after cleaning them ourselves. The listing photos do not accurately reflect the current condition of the home. There was also a living room chair with no cushion left in it, an issue mentioned in prior reviews but apparently never addressed. The owners were responsive initially, but after sharing our concerns, the only follow up was a delayed apology. There was no meaningful remedy, compensation, or indication of genuine concern about the condition of the property. Two stars for the location and potential.”
