“Beautiful wooded location. I loved seeing a do and her fawns when we drove up and then daily during our stay. Convenient walk to town and the lake, but not if you want to take water toys with you. Plenty of kitchen appliances to easily prepare your own meals. It was a great place to getaway with our son and his family. We particularly enjoyed the gas fire pit. The hot tub, was nice, but had several nonfunctional jets.”

“Great cabin, stellar location, and pretty well stocked! Good value for the offering. Frustrating to go through a secondary site and not have everything in Airbnb, that’s the point of using Airbnb.”

“I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share our experience. Upon arrival, the property was not in the condition promised. The kitchen faucet was ripped out, the kitchen was unclean, and similar issues were found throughout the home. Towels were stained, bathrooms had broken towel racks, and the jacuzzi didn’t work. We found discarded tissues under the beds, dirty socks in a closet, and a used bloody arm wrap under a bed blanket. The game room had a strong chemical odor, and the house smelled musty with pet odor. Trash outside added to the impression of poor preparation. The “separate” unit above the garage wasn’t as private as described, requiring the occupant to walk in front of the children’s game room. I’m disappointed to leave a poor review because this home could be great with better upkeep and cleaning. However, our experience didn’t meet the standards we expected or were advertised. I hope the host addresses these issues for future guests.”

“The home was more beautiful than pictured. We were surprised at how nice it was when we walked in! They were slow to respond when we had questions. We wanted to check in 40 minutes early to be inside in time for the World Cup and they wanted to charge us $60 to do so. They also charged per person who stayed there which seems odd considering it’s advertised for a large amount of beds. Had to pay extra even though we didn’t even fill every bed. Felt like we were getting nickel and dimed for an already expensive place. All of the dishes in the drawers were really dirty. I’d still recommend staying here but just be aware of those frustrations.”
