Plushy's guest rating of 4.64 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Well, Upon arrival the house was horrible. The lawn grass wasn't cut, the fence torn down, spider webs on front door. Upon entry, the house was hot and smelly, then we noticed the house wasn't cleaned properly. The upstairs bathroom had mold on the floor-in the shower and the floors wasn't swept. The ac wasn't working at all. We contacted the host and told 'him' we wanted a refund and explained the reason why. He then sent someone to check the property and the company said the AC in the house needs to be replaced and that we shouldn't be living in those conditions. We contacted Plushy again and he sent a second company to look at the AC. They concluded that the AC needs to be replaced and plushy tried to ruin our vacation even further, wanting the AC to be replaced during our stay. We asked for a refund several times and even told plushy what the AC techs had told us. We didn't receive a refund! This house needs to be SHUT DOWN, by Airbnb! DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY, AT ALL.”airbnb

“Saddened to have to write negative review of this home. Beautiful house. There are even urban deer that you will see in the evenings walking the neighborhood. But, we had issues with the temp in the home for the entire stay of 1 week. AC did not work, the host showed lack of urgency to resolve the issue. They asked for photos of the thermostat (which we sent many of), then questioned if we had accidentally turned the heater on multiple times. We contacted the host several times a day and on the last day of our stay, they told us they were “Still in the process of contacting the hvac company and no one would be coming to resolve the issue until we left. Temp inside the house exceeded the temperature outside every evening. Outside was 63-70 and 81-84 in the house! To amplify the issue, EVERY window in the house was intentionally painted shut! Please read other reviews expressing the same concerns. Especially if you’re visiting in summer months. -Warm Regards”airbnb

“we did not like this place at all, too much noise from the neighbors, many yelling and shouting from neighborhood, very low class nwighborhood, the sliding screen door had many holes and mosquitos were getting inside. The host is not honest even I asked for a quiet location he basically lied about it and said it's a quiet neighborhood. The price is way too much for what you are getting.”airbnb

“Do NOT stay here! There is a person clearly on drugs living in a car in the driveway along with others staying in the garage who share same spaces. We did not feel safe to stay. The house was not cleaned. Dirty carpets, clearly slept in beds, sticky floor, moldy food in the fridge, wires hanging out of the wall, bathroom had feathers in it, poorly patched ceilings, and stains everywhere. The dishwasher does not work and has old brown water sitting in it for who knows how long that stinks up the whole house. The picture are vastly different. If you call the owners it goes to a call center in the Middle East and they will not fix issues. They offered to clean which would’ve taken hours and would not fix the safety and health issues of having mold and drug doing people living in the same building. They refused a refund and Airbnb also did not help. I would recommend not staying here or even using Airbnb at this point since they do not care.”airbnb

“The location was ok and the ad did not specifically state that there was 2 bedrooms upstairs. The garbage was extremely full outside I couldn’t throw anything way what so ever. One of the bathrooms you cannot flush toilet and paper it clogs each time. Reached out and was told don’t flush toilet paper how convenient is that for 6 people? The house itself is very warm and stuffy the air conditioners in each room don’t have a remote so can’t turn them on. All in all we will won’t stay stain.”airbnb

“From the moment we arrived, there were issues. No power in part of the house and the WiFi wasn’t working. A breaker was tripped. The breaker box was located in the garage which we did not have access to. After several messages back and forth with the host, we were finally provided the garage code and reset the breaker ourselves. The floors were extremely dirty, as though they had not been swept or mopped in quite some time. There was no broom or vacuum available so i ended up taking a trip to the store to purchase a broom myself! When I removed the comforter from the master bedroom bed I found small blood stains and dirt on the underside. At that point, I stripped the bed and washed the sheets myself. All of these issues were a huge inconvenience after a 15-hour drive from Ohio. To top off the nightmare, about a week after we checked out we received a bill from the host saying they needed an extra $50 for extra cleaning since we left an excessive dirt on the floor. 🤦🏻♀️”airbnb

“Checked in at 4pm on a Thursday. Soon as I walked in the property was too hot to be comfortable in. It was 80degrees upoun arrival!! Called the agent also called the direct line for Airbnb. The agent finally said there would be an a/c technician the next morning at 8, they never showed up until 10. They guy said there was a massive leak in the duck work, he would have to get a approval from the homeowner to do any work on the problem. I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING FROM THE AGENT AGAIN-ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. After I literally begged them to make some kind of accommodation. My husband and I burned up all weekend. Also, the DOG HAIR WAS DISGUSTING. IT WAS EVERYWHERE!!! I told the agent about that too, said the housekeeper would be there the next day at 12....and of course THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. It grossed me out - dog hair all over my clothes and it wasn't even from my own pet. Hot house and dog hair!!! It was miserable.”airbnb

“The lock battery was low so it was difficult to get in everyday. They called me to tell me Thursday that someone would come and fix the lock but when they came they never fixed it. And the fridge wasn’t on so all of our groceries went bad! Then i received text messages from a totally different person than the first time. And when i complained about everything the owner started to text me. They’re just unorganized and don’t communicate with each other. They need to take this house off because they don’t know how to manage it or their team.”airbnb

“0/5 - An absolute scam from start to finish. Host changed the price after booking, demanded more money a month out, and refused to refund despite plenty of notice. That was just the appetizer. The place is a biohazard. Cigarette smell the second you walk in. Hair and old food on every surface. The mattresses have visible stains with NOTHING between them and the sheets — no liner, no protector, nothing. You’re just laying on years of filth. Hot water lasts four minutes. Half the unit is broken. This isn’t a “rough around the edges” situation — it’s a scam operation with a health hazard attached. Avoid at all costs.”airbnb
