Plushy in Princeville, Hawaii

“You get what you pay for. It was cheaper than other places. Not as nice as comparable costs in Poipu. It’s more old inside. Very hot. The AC was a blower in one room, not in the whole unit. The management company was responsive so that was good but we left due to hurricane warning (we had an 2 month old) and were told we would get a refund. So far it’s just dragging on and we’ve been given nothing. I wouldn’t go back here. Way too hot and the windows don’t actually close. Wood panel walls and a sliding door that barely locks. You’ll likely have bugs at night as a result. No way to foresee a hurricane but I wish we could’ve resolved things differently. The room itself is just more budget. If you just wanna surf and just crash there you’ll do fine.”

“the place was so amazing and the view was unbeatable. I thought the AC did enough for the apartment. Keep shades closed during the day and AC running. The only problem was that there were ants, but I do think that might just be common in Hawaii. You can’t keep a single scrap of anything outside of the fridge!”

“We had a lovely stay at Plushy’s place. Very comfortable little home and the pool was really well taken care of. Would definitely come back!”

“I was very disappointed with my stay. The listing did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. Several power outlets didn't work, which was inconvenient. The air conditioner remote had no batteries, so we had to unplug the unit just to turn it off. Although a dishwasher was listed, our unit didn't actually have one. Hot tub was not allowed to be used even though it was in the listing. In addition, we encountered multiple lizards and insects inside the unit and had to remove them ourselves. While I understand that wildlife can be common in Hawaii, I expected the accommodation to be better sealed and maintained. There are places on the island for a much cheaper price, that would be much bigger in size,will include sports and swimming activities. unfortunately I didn't know about these until I arrived on the island. Given the price, these issues made the stay disappointing, and I would not recommend this property unless these problems are addressed.”
