“This was our first Airbnb rental. The title of the property "Stylish Modern Retreat" is accurate. When entering, we both agreed that the property was spacious and the modern. However, the interior of the home has some wear & tear and was not "hotel" clean. There were no cleaning supplies in the home. We went to Walmart to pick-up cleaning supplies, kitchen trash bags and paper towels. First morning was spent dusting, cleaning the countertops, refrigerator (inside & out), toaster, microwave, stovetop and cabinets of fingerprints and grime. Shower had orange mildew. We were reminded to take the trash cans to the curb on Sunday night. Both of the garbage cans were full and had someone else's rotting food in it. With the threat of a $100 fine we bagged our trash and took it to a friend's home for disposal. Our stay cost $170/night. The value wasn't there for us because we had to do our own move-in, move-out cleaning & take someone else's garbage out. We'll stick to hotels.”
