Pinkie Flamingo's guest rating of 4.70 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“We were in Destin for a long weekend for a wedding that my daughter was in. The location was perfect for all of the events that she had, she was close to the venue. The condo was well suited for the two of us. The views were beautiful and very relaxing. Navigating the facility was very easy; however, there were a few things that I was disappointed in. There was no pantry space, it was filled with pots and pans and appliances. I think it could be better organized to allow for pantry space. We were only there for a long weekend so we just put everything up on the counter, but if we had been there for a week, it would have been very inconvenient. Both beds were really uncomfortable and the pillows were pretty stiff. I was happy that I always bring my own pillow. With that being said, I would still stay in this unit for a short stay!!”airbnb

“This home was certainly adequate for our family of 6. There was plenty of room to spread out. The location was convenient to shops, restaurants and multiple beach access points. Although the home was quite clean, the kitchen supplies need a bit of attention. However, this place did serve as a fairly comfortable place to live for the week.”airbnb

“The house was good and the place peaceful. The bad things; they sent us the wrong access code, we had to ask and wait for them to send us the correct one. Outside bins were filled, we didn't have place for us to put the trash. Sleeping sofas mattress have yellow stains. Half bathroom we couldn't access, handle needed replacement. Didn't send us the pool access code we asked multiple times for it never received it. Beach supplies were broken couldn't use them. Bikes needed maintenance. Fridge filter needed replacement. Upper bedroom tv was damaged. Overall it was okay.”airbnb

“The listing stated "neighborhood beach access .3mi" this is UNTRUE. The closest access is Blue Mountain Beach .6mi away. With small children this DOES make a difference. This is, in my opinion, not walkable with multiple small kiddos. Also, access to the two queen bedrooms and the third floor is only accessable thru the bunk room... With small children sleeping it is hard to come and go to those third floor bedrooms. The rest of the house was fine just not what was expected. I hope this helps others when booking.”airbnb

“This home is beautiful. It is very clean. The beds are comfortable and the location is awesome. However, communication is nonexistent with the company. I called. I left messages. I messaged through Airbnb with no response. I did send the owner a message and got one response and nothing else. Thankfully we didn’t have any real issues but communication is a necessity with customer service.”airbnb

“House was great, super comfortable and well decorated. Few minor things id recommend, but nothing major. Back yard could use some sprucing up and landscaping. Very minimal communication from the host. We had problems with the grill working and being out of propane. My message through Airbnb was never answered. A few text my husband sent directly were occasionally answered and not in a timely manner and with no follow-up. We eneded up purchasing our own bottle of propane and my husband spent hours working on the grill and cleaning and finally got it to work the next day. The power was also shut off 4 days into our vacation and when I ask the electrician parked outside why we had no power, he said it was for non payment. I dont feel i got the response or the support from the host through this issue as well. so great place if you dont need anything from the host.”airbnb

“Nice beach house, pillows and beds uncomfortable, dishes were not clean, dishwasher and oven stove were in disrepair- working but not optimal and in need of repair. The amenity access to the beach was wanting - guard very rude and we were not told that sand wagons and drop offs were not allowed and were turned away by the guard on duty in a very rude way. The beach and 30a towns are beautiful and the house was large enough to fit our family of 9 adults and 4 young children. We had a great vacation and did a lot of research. Our third time in Rosemary Beach first time at this home”airbnb

“The only upside to this apartment is the location; it is very close to the beach and local entertainment. Beyond that, the experience was highly frustrating and definitely not worth the price. The seating situation is a major hassle. You have to bring your own chairs to sit in the public area, but you aren't allowed to use them in the "designated" area—if you want to sit there, you are forced to pay for theirs. Inside the apartment, the lack of control is a real issue. The owner controls the AC, so it never gets as fresh or cool as you need it. To make matters worse, there are timers set up on everything—every single fan, the AC, and even the fridge turn on and off constantly. I visited in the spring and was already uncomfortable; I can't imagine how hot it would be in the summer. There are much better places to stay for the same price that offer far more comfort and fewer restrictions. Save your money and look elsewhere.”airbnb

“I want to start by saying this place would have gotten a 5 star had the below been done: Cleanliness: 1. Found blood stains on our sheets. Not a single extra set in sight for us to change them out. 2. The floors left our socks black Essentials: 1. For a house this size there were only three coffee mugs. Very sparse kitchen supplies. Lacking in many of the basics. 2. Starter kit was less than optimal. They didn’t even leave us 1 dishwasher tablet to hold us over until we went shopping. If you want to sweep up sand you might bring in from the beach….be aware that there is a 1920s broom and nothing else….. Communication: 1. Internet: name and password were nowhere to be found. Messaged host only to find out the entire internet had been changed and nothing updated for guests. When we saw the blood stains on the sheets we messaged the host. The response we received was basically along the lines of… “rest assured it was cleaned” …Not a single attempt to bring us another set”airbnb

“I will start with the one negative thing that made this a 3 star instead of a 5 star recommendation. Check in was at 4 pm. We checked in at 5:30 and went up to the condo to find that it had not been cleaned. The host had to call the cleaning service in and we were not able to check in until 7:50 pm. Air BNB issued a credit but all we got from the host was a “sorry” and no future communication regarding the condition of the condo. Luckily the cleaning service was thorough and the condo looked great after cleaning. This condo is right on the beach with a beautiful boardwalk. The view from the balcony is 10/10. The building is very nice. The space is perfect for a small family and the price is reasonable for the amenities that you get. You can even walk to many shops and restaurants. Also, the parking is easy which is a problem we have had at other complexes in the area. Overall, I would cautiously give this place another try because the condo and location is so great.”airbnb
