“5 day stay. The main thing was the cost and what is expected upon exiting was not worth the stay! They wanted us to start a load of towels, clean the kitchen and leave the linen in the beds (did not)! Now, while of course we definitely left the place in a great state; here’s my question: WHY ARE WE ASKED TO CLEAN WHEN WE ARE BEING CHARGED A “CLEANING FEE”? So let me get this straight; Airbnb/HOSTs are asking the people that reserve to PAY for the cleaning AND cleanup after the stay? This makes ABSOLUTELY no sense! Now, yes, we left things just as we would at any hotel stay! since there’s a “hotel/motel fee! But to ask us to do the job that we have actually paid to have someone/company do is not happening! Now, the area is Transforming from Industrial to residential area. You are made aware of that. The stay itself was ok. Looks like the pics and quiet.”

“Upon arrival, the photos did not look anything like the home. The sheets were dirty in one of the rooms. There was no tissue in the bathrooms. We just bought our own. The walls and baseboards were very dirty. There were roaches in the kitchen. We had to place all the food in the refrigerator. The neighbor has chickens that make noise all night. The beds were comfortable but there were only one bed in each room, not two like the photos state in three of the rooms. The curtains are thin and there are no blinds. Some neighborhood kids were shooting fireworks at 11 pm on the first night. There were not enough towels for use. No kitchen towels, just paper towels and hand soap. Air conditioning works well. Was not too happy with the area or the house but I spent my money and made the best of it for the girls. It’s great we always bring our own supplies like bug spray, washing detergent and soap. Will make sure to bring tissue on our next trip.”

“This house was absolutely disgusting. I honestly couldn’t even believe that someone would rent it out. The walls were filthy, the floors were filthy, the laminate had nasty stains, and the air vents were completely rusted. Not only were the beds uncomfortable but I disinfected everything that we brought home because I’m terrified of what was living in there. You have to do the most basic cleanup before renting something out-0/10 recommend.”

“Worst experience! We had communicated on what time we would arrive, arrived at 12.30am and did not have the correct code to get in the bnb. Sent a message immediately due to having to be logged on for remote work within 2.5 hours and still needing to get work stuff set up. Had to get a hotel room for that night bcz the response came late. We were reimbursed for the 1 nite bcz they never provided the correct code to get in. Very expensive hotel night that we did not expect on this trip! Asked for late ck out -2 additional hrs, declined and was told we could book another day to have late ck out. Agreed to this as we needed the extra 2 hrs, and it still was incorrect and never completed by the BnB. The bed linens smelled like a sweaty gym locker, had to put our own blankets on the bed bcz the smell was so bad it made us sick when we tried to sleep. The BnB is run through 3rd party that appears to use AI until you have an escalated response. This was a stressful experience during wrk trip!”

“Unfortunately, our stay did not match the expectations set by the listing. The photos were misleading and made the property appear to be in much better condition than it actually was. When we arrived, the couches were visibly stained and appeared dirty. The blinds were covered in dust, there were paint chips throughout the house, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance fell short of what we are use to and expected. The backyard was also unkempt and looked nothing like the impression given in the listing photos. I believe the property would benefit from a thorough deep cleaning and some general maintenance. I also encourage the host to update the listing photos so future guests have a more accurate representation of the property’s current condition.”

“Horrible. Did not stay at all because of the roaches everywhere and they are refusing to return our money. Would not recommend this place for anyone. They are charging us for staying there for 4 days and we let them know when we arrived that we would not stay there with the bugs and filth. There were roaches crawling out of the electrical outlets! No way in the world I would put my family to bed in that place! Completely unacceptable! They are not willing to refund.”

“Unfortunately, this stay did not meet my expectations. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. There were crumbs on the bed when I arrived, a makeup stain on one of the pillows, floors felt dirty, and noticeable stains and cob webs on the walls, which made the space feel less clean than expected. I also experienced some maintenance issues. The towel rack broke during normal use & the garbage disposal was not working. I informed the host about both issues during my stay, but no one came to address them. The home was stocked with only 1 roll of paper towel. When I requested an additional roll, no additional paper towels were ever delivered. Additionally, while personal experiences may vary, I did not feel particularly comfortable in the neighborhood. The host was responsive enough to receive my messages, but the lack of follow-up on the reported issues was disappointing. Overall, the cleanliness and unresolved maintenance problems negatively impacted my stay.”

“Do not book this place.extremely dirty, bad neighborhood. We didn’t even stay there and are fighting to get our money back. All they wanted to do was give us cleaning fee money back and they could possibly come out the next day to clean it. We immediately booked a different place to stay and told them we weren’t staying there.”
