Paradise Properties

“The location of this property is the star attraction of this listing. We had a hard time finding the property due to incorrect location instructions. The parking area was very tight for our F250 truck. We had to park in the visitor parking in order to not block the other spaces. The building is very cute from the outside and well maintained. Upon entering, there was a strange electrical smell that never dissipated. The unit is in desperate need of a facelift. The kitchen cabinets are rickety, the bathroom door wouldn't latch, several broken curtain rods, peeling paint, cracks in the wall, and bi-fold doors that barely open and close for the washer and dryer. Also, I would not recommend renting the bikes through Paradise30A Properties even at the discounted rate. They are the type that do not have chains (which was not disclosed to us) and are extremely difficult to ride. They did give us a refund, but we had to argue with someone who was quite rude before getting it.”

“I would not recommend staying at Paradise. Upon arrival, the property was not properly cleaned. We found hair in the bathroom, dead insects in several areas, food residue left on the kitchen counters, and a broken crystal glass in the kitchen, which was a safety concern. The shower was also damaged and caused water to spill all over the bathroom floor whenever it was used. The cleanliness and overall condition of the property were so far below expectations that we decided to cancel our reservation shortly after entering the home. Fortunately, we were able to find another Airbnb nearby that was clean, well-maintained, and ready for guests. This experience was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the standards advertised in the listing.”

“Upon arriving at the property, it appeared clean and well organized. The listing properly showed what to expect in the house (on the surface at least). While unpacking and settling in, we noticed a stain on the comforter as well as the sheet in the master bedroom. There was also some kind of wet substance in one of the night stand drawers and there were stains in the dresser drawers. (Not a huge problem for us, we dealt with that). Later while preparing to make food, the pans were dirty, and there was no dish soap to wash said pans. While waiting for our food to cook in the oven, three or more roaches were crawling around the stove, on the counter, and on the utensils and knives that were on the counter. I contacted them, and they sent us to a second and a third house which all had living and/or dead bugs in them. We were forced to cancel our reservation and book a new place for the weekend.”

“A little pricey and elevators were slow, other than that it was a clean place right on the beach. We enjoyed”

“The property is very clean and peaceful. Check-in time is super strict, no early check-in time unless you pay a fee. The beaches are walking distance. Rosemary and Alys beach are not walking distance. Overall, we had a great time. We loved seeing all the beach decorations in the place.”

“Location was great. But that is not really related to the management company. We feel like for the cleaning fee we all pay floors could have been moped. Also there were holes in the couch and one of the chairs covers. All management company did came and covered it with the bed sheets but told up they will put new covers on it. First, it was supposed to be taken care of before anyone would have moved in. Second, why say one thing and do the least expensive option instead. Plus management company wanted $500 security deposit outside of this platform.”

“It would be a great place if the beds were more comfortable. If all the aisle on the stove work along with the light under the stove. Also across the street these two women would just sit on a box and look at the apartment all day. Uncomfortable experience after some days being out all day you just want to come back to a comfortable bed. Amenities are great but overall it’s okay. Just need some upgrades.”

“Everything about the place was nice. My only deception was that in April, while the weather is still unpredictable, we would have liked for us to have been able to adjust the pool temperature. Some places allow it with an extra fee.”

“The house was great. It was right on the beach and having access to the beach and white sand was amazing. Very peaceful location. We had a great time. I was annoyed by a couple of things. One, there is a heatable pool (more like a large hot tub) but there is a $90 a day additional charge to heat it. Felt like this was a ridiculous price if we wanted to use it for an hour or two. So a great feature but pointless unless you want to pay extra. Felt a bit like the property company was trying to nickel and dime us. Two, we triggered the fire alarm on the last day due to some cooking. Fire crew came out but the switch to turn off the alarm was in the garage and we were never given access to the garage. They ended up having to climb in through the window. Not sure why we weren’t given access to this.”

“It was a nice size place but it needs some maintenance done, along with carpet being replaced and tablecloth. Attention to small details in the cleaning process like around windows, back of shower curtains, walls need to be wiped down including chairs. When things are broken they need to be fixed or taken out. Like backyard light, kithen chair in closet, outside chair, and can openers didn't work. No screen in room, no use of clubhouse. Pool was beautiful.”
