“We had such a lovely stay! Great location with amazing view. Very responsive host!”

“When Oregon Beach Vacation would text me I would then need a code and unable to get to the sight so was unable to read the text messages I received. Did get email which I believe gave me the info I needed.”

“We booked this home for a special family trip before my upcoming open‑heart surgery. Shortly after the 24‑hour cancellation window passed, my surgery date was moved up into the exact week of our stay. I contacted the hosts over three weeks before check‑in, but they showed no flexibility. After multiple messages, they said we could change dates only if I covered any price increases and provided new dates, something I couldn’t do while facing major surgery. We ended up losing half the week and incurring extra travel costs. When we arrived, we found several pills in the upstairs carpet and dead worm type bugs throughout the home. We were traveling with a toddler so this was alarming. The house smelled musty, the furniture was worn, the beds were extremely hard, and the layout forced kids to sleep on a different floor. Basic amenities were lacking for a 7‑day stay. Overall, home and the hosts’ lack of care were deeply disappointing. This is NOT what I’ve come to expect from Airbnb”

“My husband kept saying, "this place is at about 85%", and I would have to agree. What they have done is nice - it's cute. I don't like to be critical, but they push pretty hard for a 5 star review. It's fairly good, but it's like it was a quick flip that wasn't quite finished, and it could have been about 15% cleaner. Trim and door paint not complete (so dirt sticks to them), closet doors cut to fit, so not stable, no hang bar in the closets. The fan in the kitchen vents... back into the kitchen. There is no bathroom fan. The shower doors aren't set up properly, so they slide open and don't seal on the edges. The instant hot water heater should probably be on it's own circuit so the lights don't flicker. The living room tv was crooked. I had to throw the bathroom rugs in the wash - they were matted down with debris. All rugs were pretty dirty. A little TLC could make this place really great.”

“The house was in a great location. Central to all the activities we had planned. The view was AMAZING. Only downside was the house did not seem to be cleaned thoroughly before we came. The couch had sand in it, the light fixtures above the kitchen were dusty and had cobwebs. There were also several cobwebs downstairs and beetles came crawling out of a crack in the downstairs bathroom. We weren’t expecting a deep clean before we came, but they could have swept, mopped, dusted, and cleared the cobwebs. Bed linens and towels seemed very clean at least! Beds were comfy. The hottub was wonderful and easy to uncover. The kitchen had many pots and pans and things to cook with. Also we had absolutely zero phone service, but that’s not their fault, just want to make that known. All in all, we had a pretty great stay, but would have preferred the place to be cleaner upon arrival.”

“The place is very old, many things were not provided like other airbnbs. washing machine doesn't work well and is really really old. wifi doesn't work, its really bad you cannot work with it. might have water issues if people use both bathrooms at once.”

“area ok to stay but the add said check out at 12 then when i reserve it the email i receive for info and instructions said check out was at 10. thats the worst part, too early for checking out on sunday”

“Since there was no soap/sponge and seems like previous people didn’t really use the dishwasher all the dishes were a bit dirty. I was rewashing everything before using it which was frustrating since we cooked every day that we stayed. There was an angry seagull that would come up to the sliding door and literally knock and screech on the top of its lungs asking for food, I’m assuming. It was very loud 😂 glad it didn’t wake our napping baby! The general cleanliness of the home was alright besides crumbs under all of the place mats on the dining table. The master bathroom upstairs had no trash can and no hand soap until we found a bar of soap in the complimentary hygiene baggies. Besides being given the wrong code for the door and having to use the emergency key, those were the only other odd/annoying random things. Generally, we enjoyed our stay and were mildly annoyed by these few things as it made it feel like the host/housekeeper rushed in making preparations for us.”

“Issues lied about the flooring The bed is incredibly hard The bathroom is ice cold There’s no lighting for the hot tub not to mention the water is disgusting and cloudy The beach access was a blatant lie and illustrated it not being a mile and a half walk A actual cupboard door was missing I tripped on the flooring in the kitchen when we walked in it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned The remote doesn’t work Streaming services are not an option even though they say they are It said essentials were provided but the biggest frying pan is the size of plate and there isn’t even salt and pepper It was genuinely the most uncomfortable place I’ve ever stayed and it was embarrassing cause it was a surprise trip for my wife’s birthday we had to leave early don’t stay here”
