“Overall house was good! Beautiful view! Only downfalls was there is no blinds at all in the living space.”

“The house has high potential. It has a beautiful beach front view (although there is no beach access). The house was well below expectations as the actual box spring to the bed was completely broken and had a bad mattress. We had to move the bed onto the floor. Bunk beds apparently have a weight limit that restricts the cleaners from making the top bunk. Fans were broken. Overall the place just had an old not very clean feeling. The host was not helpful when we addressed our concerns, it seemed like an automated response.”

“The house was cute & in a nice location; a quiet neighborhood w/nearby playground. Unfortunately, numerous cleanliness, maintenance & supply issues made our stay more work than relaxation. The pans had dried grease & onions from previous guests, so I had to wash them before cooking. 1 set of sheets in the kids’ room had blood stains. The kids’ room sink was clogged & unusable & kids’ window screen was missing. The hot tub lock was rusted & could not be secured. Most concerning, my daughter cut her foot on glass on the stairs. Supplies were inadequate: no trash bags, insufficient soap, only two dishwasher pods for the weekend, no firewood & no hot tub towels, forcing us to wash/dry & reuse our shower towels. The 4 p.m. check-in & 10 a.m. checkout also limited our time there. We raised concerns, but the host simply said thanks for letting them know. In the end, we received an automated request for a five-star review. The location was lovely, but the overall experience was disappointing.”

“Don’t recommend. Too many negatives. The floors are disgusting. Cracks in kitchen floor with cellophane tape covering it. Bathroom has old sticky substance around the perimeter of floor. Bathroom heatlamp & fan is shorting out and feels like it could be an electrical problem. Toaster has a wire in it prohibiting your bread to be pushed down. Probably another electrical hazard. The dining room light fixture over the table does not work. So dining room is dark. Could not eat at table. I reported this and got the usual AI generated answer, “we will report this to our team.” Bed was uncomfortable. The only positive- is the view. Not worth it.”

“Upsides-5 min walk to the beach, house is beautiful, came with some things we needed like pots and pans and plates etc. close to the casino, the kids loved it. Downsides- Downstairs smells like urine and outside trash was completely full when we arrived and when I messaged about what to do with our trash I got a AI generated message that wasn’t helpful.”

“The house is cute, bedrooms and bathroom are small as advertised, living room is spacious, back deck is lovely. No issues with the house, but the Beach House is terrible. The collapsed board in front had been pushed up and covered with caution tape. The porch light barely lit up. So at night my 77 year old traveling companion stepped on the board he couldn't see, the board collapsed, and he fell flat on his face, just missing a log that had he hit it would have severely injured or even killed him. I let management know about this situation. They said they would have someone over at 9:00 am to fix it. No one showed up, repeated emails about this and other problems were all answered with canned replies. Either they have no staff other than the front desk, which is bad, or they don't care, which is worse. It took an extra two days to get out of there because they wouldn't answer Airbnb safety teams emails. Fortunately we got mostly refunded and a good place for 3 days”

“This home needs a lot of work, updating and cleaning. You cannot see the ocean from the downstairs at all. Most of the windows can’t be opened and have signs on them.”

“Top bunks weren’t made because they said the cleaners couldn’t do it due to weight limit, we didn’t want to climb up there to make them and exceed the weight limit and be responsible for breaking them then. Requested a one hour early check in which they wouldn’t accommodate even though no one was there (I know this because we parked out front and just walked down to the beach to kill an hour. The day we were checking out we were loading our car up at 5:30 am, my husband locked door to go to leave when my daughter realized she left a toy inside, we tried to go back in but were locked out even though technically check out wasn’t until 10 am. So no early check in but they will check you out early lol. Body hair in one of the showers. And in the primary bathroom I got out of the shower and grabbed a presumably clean towel from under the sink, started drying off, and realized there was a huge clump of someone else’s hair in the towel hot tub was filthy the day of check in, did get cleaned”

“We had a lovely stay here. The view is incredible! There were a couple things to note; there is no hair dryer and we had one bar of soap to share with bathtub and 3 sinks. Other than that we had a really nice stay.”

“The house had a nice view and the game room, sauna and hot tub was a hit with everyone! It was an older house with older upgrades so you could tell it needed some maintenance done. They had a ton of sheets and towels which was nice but they only had 4 coffee cups for the whole house. Also the bunk bed room was not safe for anyone to sleep on the top as it was being held up by cardboard and a screw. We were told we couldn’t bring our dog who had lymphoma which was disappointing because getting to the house we could tell there had been pets there before. Before the trip I asked if they would be able to refund at least part of it so we could find a pet friendly place and they couldn’t do more than $200 after we paid over $4000 so we had to book another pet friendly place and keep our reservation with them which cost even more. Just not the best customer service in my opinion.”
