Oregon Beach Vacations
4.61Visit website
Oregon Beach Vacations's guest rating of 4.61 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The details were not very accurate regarding location of the home, it sits right next to the highway, they have a really nice deck, but no deck furniture or chairs, but it is very loud so maybe thats why. The beach access was also not accurate, it was very steep and hard to menver for older people. Most rentals have a few staples like coffee, spices, board games, cleaning supplies, there were none. There is an issue in the bathroom with hot water and flickering lights, that was uncomfortable, the shower doors don't close right so the floor gets flooded. Read other reviews that had complaints, they are all spot on. We made the best of it, and I will remember to read the reviews the next time we rent.”airbnb

“Interior clean and well stocked. Downstairs shower door questionable, upstairs bathroom door knob came apart. Exterior run down with weeds surrounding the front porch and door. Weedy driveway and in the back yard. Trash can stuffed full. I had to hose off the seaside windows, should have been done before arrival, after all that’s what we came for, the ocean view!! They were sending someone to look at the front door lock, but didn’t get back to me about it. I had to message them for an update and explanation of why it still doesn’t work. This house is the eyesore of the street. Exterior is in need of maintenance and paint. It’s a moneymaking rental. Expected more for the price. Finally, the morning we checked out they messaged us asking for a 5 star review. NOT HAPPENING. I have photos but couldn’t find a way to post them.”airbnb

“The location/view was amazing. Could see seals, birds, and whales from the home. A house was a little close to the highway so there was some extra noise but otherwise its conviently located to town. House was large and comfortable for our group. Main bedrooms were well apointed. The big downer was the quality of the home. The master bathroom shower was broken and unuseable when we got there and nobody stopped by to fix it. One burner on the kitchen range was broken as well as others that didnt heat reliably. We noticed many of the homes smoke alarms were missing on the main floor. Unsure if it met code or not. Kids bunk room matresses were not that great and would not recomend for anyone over 10 YO. The home worked well for what we needed. Given what we paid, I would have expected the home would have had more polish.”airbnb

“We enjoyed our stay. The view from the main living space and the front bedrooms is spectacular, and the Nye Beach location can't be beat. The regular beds were quite comfortable (the mattress of the bottom bunk less so), the bathrooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the kitchen is well-supplied in terms of dishes and cooking implements. The view from the balcony is wonderful! One challenge for us was the lack of comfortable seating: there's really only the one (very deep) couch to sit on; the lounge chair thing isn't a functional upright seat and there are no other comfortable chairs. Be aware that the dining table is a high-top and has tall bar-stool-type chairs, which may be an accessibility challenge for some (it was for members of our party). The internet went out our first night and though we conveyed that to our hosts a few times, no action was taken and we were without internet for most of our two-night stay. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and the view felt magical.”airbnb

“Condo was nice, a bit outdated. Location was great. Oregon Beach Vacations company was not good to work with. The home was listed to sleep 4. They told us that we could be kicked out if more than 4 people walked into the house. Their words. So family couldn’t even visit us. They said it was county law. I’ll never work with them again. Don’t give them your business, they refused to work with us at all.”airbnb

“We will not stay here again. It's a DIY project gone wrong. Everything we touched had an issue. Furniture and appliances falling apart, ants on the kitchen counters, dirty dishes is the cabinets, lights flicker when you use the hot water, the stove fan vents directing into the cabinet above, electrical outlets were installed incorrectly, no coffee provided despite them featuring a coffee bar, beach access was not manageable with a dog and chairs and so much more. No one responded to our request for a refund even though property management said someone would be reaching out to us. We feel catfished. It's not worth the money.”airbnb

“We stayed at this property in Rockaway Beach and unfortunately had several issues that significantly impacted our experience. The WiFi was essentially unusable throughout our stay. With limited cell service in the area, this made it difficult to stay connected for basic communication and work. We raised the issue during our stay and were told that weather could affect service and that nothing further could be done. However, conditions during our visit were clear and calm, and the lack of reliable internet made the stay much more difficult than expected. We also noticed cleanliness and maintenance issues, including stains in the upstairs bathtub and rusty utensils in the kitchen. The location itself is nice, but overall the property did not meet expectations due to these issues.”airbnb

“First thoughts when I arrived ..We noticed the weeds growing out of gutters that won't allow the gutter to properly drain in rain storm .Front door lock janky front door is out of square makes door harder to open. MISSING & DAMAGED window blinds on FIVE that either didn't work or were just missing master bedroom HAS a blind just missing so if you want to change your clothes the upstairs bedroom has destroyed blind that won't work so the neighbors can watch you change..The two beds downstairs were HORRIBLE old inner spring mattresses WORN out .. The refrigerator needs a new ICE water filter unit keeps beeping to replace unit when getting water .Cobwebs general dust on light fixtures look up. Cobwebs between glass on oven door..Janky loose dishwasher that hits refrigerator. Not a gourmet kitchen.. Overall the pictures make the place look nicer but paint peeling off cabinets, burned out bulbs , water drywall damage around front door..Place is rough it clear they invest as little money”airbnb

“Nightmare Stay!!! My pregnant daughter and 3 year old son were locked into the children’s bedroom - the door lock was defective. The door couldn’t be open from the inside or outside and we had to disassemble the door lock, remove the hinges and force the door out of its frame into the bedroom, luckily I had tools in the car and nobody was hurt when the door slammed into the bedroom, the owner had unsuccessfully tried to defeat the lock preventing the door closing altogether but our 3 year old managed to close that door. No repair was done during our stay, no emphatic reaction from host or owner, no willingness for any refund, no apologies for what our family experienced, had our 3 year old closed the door without parents in the room we would have to call 911 to free our child, the locks from the other doors are also ready to fall off, no carbon monoxide detector anywhere near the old gas heater on the main floor - extremely unsafe to stay and unresponsive host and owner doesn’t care!!!”airbnb

“We booked this home for a special family trip before my upcoming open‑heart surgery. Shortly after the 24‑hour cancellation window passed, my surgery date was moved up into the exact week of our stay. I contacted the hosts over three weeks before check‑in, but they showed no flexibility. After multiple messages, they said we could change dates only if I covered any price increases and provided new dates, something I couldn’t do while facing major surgery. We ended up losing half the week and incurring extra travel costs. When we arrived, we found several pills in the upstairs carpet and dead worm type bugs throughout the home. We were traveling with a toddler so this was alarming. The house smelled musty, the furniture was worn, the beds were extremely hard, and the layout forced kids to sleep on a different floor. Basic amenities were lacking for a 7‑day stay. Overall, home and the hosts’ lack of care were deeply disappointing. This is NOT what I’ve come to expect from Airbnb”airbnb
