4.37Visit website
MGM Properties's guest rating of 4.37 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“A lot of Unnecessary information needed just to check in. Host needed IDs sent over for me and 10 others before we were even allowed to go inside. There were several different links to click on and sign for just to confirm the booking.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating stay. Check-in was delayed due to an unresponsive host, requiring Airbnb Support to help us get in. The cleaners were still leaving, the floors were wet, and there was no toilet paper or paper towels. The home also had flies, scuffed walls, and repeatedly beeping smoke detectors. I had difficulty reaching the host about these issues and again had to contact Airbnb Support. I was in town for an event and instead of getting ready, I spent my time dealing with these problems. I would not recommend this property and would hesitate to book with a host using a non-local property management company.”airbnb

“Overall, the home itself was newer and in a nice location. However, our experience didn't match the listing or our expectations for a month-long stay. The listing advertised a king bed in the primary bedroom, but it was actually a queen. It also mentioned a workspace suitable for remote work, but there was no desk or desk chair available. Since I work remotely, this was a significant inconvenience. The biggest challenge was the lack of basic essentials. There were no garbage bags or cleaning supplies, very limited toilet paper, and no hand/paper towels. We reported these issues immediately, but it took more than two weeks only for paper towels to be delivered. Additionally, there was ongoing construction nearby from early morning into the late evening throughout our stay, making it difficult to work from the property during the day. This property would likely be fine for a short weekend visit, but based on our month-long stay, we wouldn't choose to rent again.”airbnb

“This would have been a great place to stay, unfortunately the poor rated is because of negligence on part of the cleaning staff. A medication pill left on the floor was eaten by a toddler and resulted in a 6 hr ER visit, where the child was monitored all night long. Also, no toilet paper provided, no extras, no blankets, partial sheets... otherwise pretty and clean, but incident totally disrupted a joyful wedding weekend. Safety report filed.”airbnb

“way to expensive for what you get. Not enough towels, linens, supplies. dirty stained linens on beds, burnt residue on stove top, clogged kitchen sink, ants, wet carpet upstairs, area rug in livingroom stained, hair in showers and on toilet paper. idk even know how the toilet paper rolls are dirty but thats nasty. we had to sit and wait to check in for this? when we tried to enter we were met by an angry cleaning crew. its scary to pull up to a place with your family and someone is inside holding the door so you cant enter yelling why are you here. then being told you cant enter til tmrw even after showing the reservation. I did ask for my money back and they responded with you booked last minute so they didnt expect anyone. They were apologetic but this is not okay at all. i feel robbed of our money. our kids couldnt eat dinner til 9 because of all the waiting. some or our groceries went bad while we waited in our car. worst experience using AirBNB. i took pics or everything.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, this was my worst Airbnb experience to date, and I cannot recommend staying here. My group respected the property and left it in good condition. The host sent a request for more money, 9 days after checkout, claiming there were extra cleaning issues and damaged wash cloths/towels, which I strongly dispute. The host had collected a $150 security deposit outside of Airbnb and later submitted an additional $164.90 request through Airbnb for the alleged damages. I was disappointed by how this was handled, especially since there was no communication about any issues immediately after checkout. I later noticed that this host operates multiple listings under a management company. After looking at other guest experiences across their properties, I noticed similar concerns mentioned by other reviewers. Future guests should carefully review any off-platform payment requests and consider taking detailed timestamped photos and videos before and after their stay for their own records”airbnb

“Only 4 towels left for 6 people. Sent us fake pictures from the cleaners showing towels left on every bed when they werent. Even so this is a big house that should have more then the exact number of towels/guest for a week stay. Dryer was broke and not fixed until the day we checked out. One guest left some keys and had to pay $35 just for them to go to the post office and wouldnt offer any times to meet for them as we were in the same town in a different airbnb.”airbnb

“This is not a private host it’s a management company. They say on the listing that you must notify them in advance of extra guests, we planned to have dinner with a few of our team members that were staying at a different Airbnb and they wanted to charge us a $1000 non-refundable deposit. Their rules for the house are so excessive. Windows are missing blinds, shower leaks and toilet didn’t flush properly. I let them know with no response. Power went out and we didn’t hear from them till the next morning with a “I’m sure it’s temporary”. They won’t send check-in instructions until check-in and we didn’t get it till 15 minutes after 4pm. You do have to go off site to validate your id and pay an additional deposit for this home. So, just be aware. This isn’t really a host, it’s a property company and Airbnb is disappointing. We rented 5 airbnbs this trip and the most expensive was the worst to deal with.”airbnb

“Cold showers, and unclean sheets for the beds. Sent pics about our stained bedsheets and they said to just get new ones. There was none. No toilet paper but one roll. No trash bags.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, this was not a good stay. The house itself was okay, but it felt old, run down, and very minimally stocked. The kitchen was only stocked for about 3 to 4 people, even though the house sleeps many more, so it felt like the property provided only the bare minimum. The bigger issues were the process, rules, and overall communication. The management company was not very welcoming, the verification process was excessive, and we had to agree to the house rules multiple times. The address in the app was also wrong, causing us to circle the area several times before finding it. The guest policy was especially frustrating. No guests were allowed at all, even briefly, and the rules repeatedly warned about eviction or cancellation. We were in town for a graduation and would have liked for elderly family members to come over to rest. Overall, the house was underwhelming, frustrating, and not very welcoming.”airbnb
