Manager Review

Maui Condo and Home

Maui Condo and Home's guest rating of 4.63 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Maui condo was a horrible choice to stay 7 days, they were inconsiderate to say the least and were blunt to the core. Would not recommend Maui condo for any stay in Hawaii

Fabulous amenities and location! The AC was iffy and there were no fans, which was rough. They also didn’t respond to any of my questions. But fabulous stay! So worth the money. Loved loved loved it.

Amazing location! Fantastic view out either side of either the ocean, or the mountains, sunset, sunrises, and the beautiful courtyard and water features of the resort. Very large beautifully appointed condo. Enjoyed the free yoga class on Tuesday morning. I left early due to a hurricane watch when we changed our tickets, and was unable to negotiate with them for a partial refund. Condo is carpeted with a slight musty smell.

The condo was hot, only one portable unit, which was in the master bedroom, the rest of the condo was pretty hot, a few the windows couldn't close tightly to keep the cold air in from the fans. Did not provide blanket for the pull out bed. The shower dispensers were broken, the water didn't get hot, if 2 people showered at the same time, there's no hot water at all. We were not given parking instructions, I had to ask the next day when I picked up the other key and the community pool keys.

Very nice location in Poipu Beach. Condo was clean and well maintained. Main issue was they listed their unit wrong - it says 1 bedroom with 2 beds and 2 baths. Unfortunately, it's just 1 bed and 1 bath. It took some back and forth, but they did adjust our fees to compensate for the error. I hope they update it correctly to avoid future issues. I also hope they buy a permanent AC unit for the condo for future guests. During our 7 night stay, the property management never was able to provide us with an AC unit, leading to some very hot nights and difficult sleep.

The condo unit is very beautiful and right next to the pool which is great. The walk from the parking lot to the unit isn’t far either so loading and unloading was very convenient. The split AC unit in the living area did not work, due to the unit being on the bottom floor, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the windows open as there is a busy sidewalk next to the unit. They do offer a portable AC unit to rent for $20/day. With the price we paid, we would think that the unit would have working AC units. Even though both rooms had split units, they had a portable AC already in the rooms. The master bath walk in shower wasn’t draining properly so we reached out to the property manager to assist with these issues. They did reply asking the front desk for assistance but we never got any follow up communications with either the front desk or property manager. Besides the lack of AC, mold in the washer and the clogged shower drain, the unit is very nice.

The pictures aren’t what you actually get, it’s not as much of an ocean view as it looks. The living room area you can see the water from afar, the main bedroom no ocean view and the small bedroom definitely has no view of the ocean, barely windows. If you reach out, it’s an automated response and they don’t help. The grounds were nice with shops, restaurants and spa, pool is nice, you can rent snorkels - coolers - umbrella etc. Beach is also right there which is convenient but not a lot of fish or anything to really snorkel at see so we went to other bays nearby. The shower has good pressure and the kitchen had a coffee maker and nice fridge which is really all we used.

Cabinet to get into fridge didn’t open properly, only 1 elevator worked causing long waits to get to room. Microwave didn’t open, couldn’t get morning coffee out to drink :(.

This is my first review that’s less than 4 or 5 stars and I am very disappointed to say that. The room is cramped, building is old, and the staff all appear to hate their work. Most disappointingly, the elevator did not work for several hours late at night so my parents could not sleep or walk up the 11 stories to our place and when I messaged the owner? Zero response. Airbnb messaged them too. Zero response. They took virtually a half day to respond and did nothing to help the situation. In fact, I also had a check in question which they never answered just automated BS. I would NEVER EVER book this place again or this provider again. Do yourself a favor, and reconsider.
