“We had a very nice stay at the Anchor! Really enjoyed the outside dinner patio screened enclosure. The house itself was very homey and cozy and had everything we needed. The property was super peaceful and quiet and private. Patrick was very responsive and helpful. Loved it, wish we could have stayed longer!”

“Our extended family of 8 had a fantastic time at Patrick’s place for 4 nights. The house was spacious and beautiful, including the grounds. The short walk to Somes Sound was a bit wet but worth it for the views of the sound. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast. We ate out for the other meals. When we had an issue with a broken shade, Patrick had it repaired later that day. The house was conveniently located to SW Harbor, Acadia, and Bar Harbor. It was so nice to return to a lovely and comfortable house after a long day of hiking and sightseeing.”

“Great place to stay if you’re visiting Acadia with a dog. Patrick responded to a couple of questions we had very quickly. The shared firepit is pretty cool and our neighbors were all very friendly. It is located within 20 minutes of most of the hikes and trails, 10 minutes to bar harbor, and there is also a few small places to eat within a few miles. We didn’t have any issues with bugs but I could see it being an issue with the pond nearby. 5/5 recommend.”

“The place was very quiet. It is very close to the south end of Acadia park entrance. The washer and dryer worked great and had some basic supplies for it. The only “down side” was there wasn’t a sponge to hand wash dishes (no dishwasher). Patrick/management company was very understanding of it though. We hope to be back!”

“We enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Place near Acadia. The space was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with great amenities that made it easy to settle in and enjoy our time exploring the area. It was a wonderful home base for visiting Acadia. Our only concern was noise from the guests in the unit above us. While there were quiet hours in place, and we understood being we too have children. That said, this is one of the challenges that can come with multi-level accommodations and was not a reflection of the host’s responsiveness or hospitality. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend Driftwood Place to others looking for a comfortable and well-appointed place near Acadia. 🌲🏞️”
