The house offers you an opportunity to relax and appreciate the gorgeous views. We took advantage of the dock on his property and set sail daily on this spectacular lake. Everything you can possibly dream of doing is minutes away in any direction. Hiking, bike riding, rock climbing, breathtaking ocean views, delicious seafood! “Wonderful stay on Mount Desert Island. The house is situated beautifully along the water and nestled within the trees. Tons of privacy. Fantastic access to the beach and the dock. Great spot for our two dogs to run around freely. The kitchen is set up nicely. The living space is comfy and spacious. We used the upper Master bedroom and loved. The access to the deck just off the bedroom was lovely.Plenty of parking. Easy access to the various towns on MDI, as well as simple to access all of the various hiking trails in Acadia. We loved the experience and will definitely be back. Patrick is a fantastic host.”

“Patrick’s place was our “home away from home” for a Week! Check in was easy, the house was exactly and described and big!! We had a family of 6 and the house was spacious, relaxing, clean, and accommodating! We loved the sound tv!!! You could take an easy walk to Seal Harbor and explore for sea glass or just relax in the little beach there. It was very close to the entrances to Acadia National park! Would definitely book his place again in the future!!!”

“Wow! What a view!!!!! Deer and chipmunks in the yard, loons singing in the sound! Spectaular surroundings! Patrick was easy to contact. We had an issue with WiFi the first night, and he had someone there the next day swapping out hardware to get us up and running; which is important, as cell service is extremely spotty on the island, and non-existent on the lower floors of the house. Only thing to mention is that, as listed, there is no A/C. There happened to be some unseasonably hot days on our stay, that had us a little uncomfortable, even with all windows open and fans blowing throughout the rooms. Other than that, we’re extremely pleased with our time here, and would book with Patrick again!”
