“Room was as expected. Appreciated that it was pet friendly, although the room was a little stuffy and smelled of previous pets, not bad but still could smell. I would consider getting rid of the carpet. I'm sure it's difficult when pets are allowed. Other than that it was good. Nice area for walking and very peaceful in the morning and at night.”

“The place was ok. It was an average stay. The beds wore horribly hard!! I have honestly never felt a bed so hard. We left one night early because of this we didn't get a good nights sleep. Also there was trash left behind in the garbage can.”

“This airbnb was good. It is in a peaceful neighborhood near a beautiful lake. The main house where we stayed was huge and there would be no problem sleeping 12 people, as advertised. The inside was clean and accomodating. The main complaint that I do have is that some of the furniture was broken or very outdated. The bar stools at the kitchen counter, at least one or two were broken and unsafe to sit on and the diningroom chairs feel like your are sitting in a hole when you sit down. Otherwise the beds and couches are comfortable. The pickleball court was fun and we used it for the 2 hours alloted and had fun playing. Overall, this airbnb serviced our needs being near our son at Ferris State University. Go Bulldogs!”

“The location and view were great!! Town was not far with restaurants and grocery store. It was wonderful to have a beach and lots of seating. The accommodations were good. The home needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance.”

“The apartment was over all nice, when we first checked in there were bugs and the unit was very small, no functioning lights in the bedroom. They moved us to another unit which was much better and overall nothing wrong with it.”

“There’s something wrong with the toilet when yoy flushing … the chair on the living room looks dirty and would love to have more towels for the amount of day we stood there, beside that overall the stay was very satisfying and well maintain and clean… would come here again soon…”

“We stayed here for almost a week for my BILL'S wedding. Overall the place was a nice stay for the price. The pros: - EXCELLENT location downtown, walkable to so many cool and beautiful places. We also felt very safe everywhere we walked. - The kitchen was well stocked. - They provide a pack-n-play which was perfect for our toddler. She slept in it most of the trip (bring your own sheets though, they are not provided) - Host communicated very fast late at night when we ran into an issue with parking. The cons: - Parking was very confusing when we first got there (I did not realize the parking instructions were in the trips house manual section and did not read that ahead of time, so that's my bad). The host was kind to reply late at night, but the instructions to get the pass were confusing & incorrect & took a lot of back and forth to finally get the pass. - Floors are VERY loud and squeaky - a shop downstairs sometimes plays VERY loud music during the day.”

“We loved the location and responsiveness of the host. We thought we found a spot that would be an annual stay for us but unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable we probably won’t be back.”

“Stopped in for a quick night on my way north. Check in was easy and the shared area in the back was nice. The unit however, was not the best. I don't expect any unit near nature like this one to be completely clean or bug free but this was excessive. There was a smell - maybe from pets? Things seemed dirty. Bugs in the shower weren't a huge deal - again, nature, but the worst of it was a huge spider in the bed! During my stay, I kept telling myself to let it all go and that is normal for places in this area to be like that. I was wrong. I stayed further up in the UP the next day in a more remote area and that place was spotless and bug/smell free.”

“The apartment was exactly as described—very clean, comfortable, and in a great, walkable location. We felt safe in the area and enjoyed our stay. The only inconvenience was that the elevator was not working for most of our visit, which made access a little difficult since we were not driving. Otherwise, everything was lovely and the apartment itself was exactly as listed.”
