“A perfect place for my bachelorette trip! Beautiful home and stunning location. We had a blast hanging out here. The front yard is stunning! Kitchen was well stocked with cookware. A few things could be fixed up, the AC was weak, wanted to use the grill one night but there were no extra batteries for the igniter. Only one side of the stovetop griddle was working.”

“Issues with bnb- 1. Toiletries were not replenished 2. ⁠towels were in poor condition 3. ⁠not enough towels 4. ⁠the toilet seat was wobbly 5. ⁠the third room’s bed was not made at all. Duvet and bedsheet were off the bed 6. Even after reporting issue— they had a very standard response which did not resolve our issue”

“The home was not clean. Doors were left open and bugs in infiltrated the home. Home smelled as if a smoker lived there. Bathroom mats were dirty. Reached out to the host and we were told to look in the cabinets if we wanted cleaning supplies. Which we didn’t find very many. Overall the home is beautiful in a great setting but the home needs some cleaning TLC.”

“Beautiful house with incredible wood carvings. The no wifi/cell service made it impossible to connect with the host about a couple issues we had, and many of the dishes were dirty so we had to wash them before and after using them. Otherwise, it was a lovely time.”

“It was all the small things that added up by the end of the trip. It started with what look like 10-year old dirty bath mats and dirty shower tile grout. Then the pots and pans were crusty, teflon flaking off, etc. Then the front door flashing that sliced my arm and one of my kids arms. There was a large SUV parked in the driveway the entire time we were not informed it would be there until time of checkin. Since we have a large SUV we were unloading luggage in the street. Then the kicker. We had a man and a woman enter the access code and walk into the unit unannounced. They were yelling and telling us to get out and asking why the 'hell' we were in there. We eventually found out she was a representative of the owner and she was told the unit was available. Knowing the owner had given the code out and since there was no dead-bolt to keep us safe, we packed up and left a day early.”

“The dogs didn’t allow for an initial safe entry. There were three dogs and the largest dog growled at us when we wanted to enter. I was told the dogs would be secured during my stay. This never happened”

“The inen closet with extra towels was damp - one of the towels that was left for us had a ole in it”

“The owner’s behavior was the biggest disappointment of our stay. Thankfully, it happened on our last night. While we appreciated that he fixed the lights, he spoke to my wife in a condescending manner about opening the windows. We had returned from Glenwood Adventure Park to a scorching hot house with no electricity or a way to circulate air, so we opened the windows to let the heat escape and never left them unattended. Ironically, the guest book says windows may be opened if they have screens, yet none of the windows have screens. Had I not brought my portable power station, I couldn’t have powered my Starlink to communicate with the host via Airbnb. We left the home cleaner than we found it (as we always do) and treated it with respect. If I rated the stay solely on that interaction, it would have been 1 star. But because it was an isolated incident, I don’t believe in damaging someone’s overall rating over one bad experience.”

“This was a very disappointing experience. We arrived at the Airbnb and immediately noticed a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the home. The bunk bedroom was especially bad—the smell was so overwhelming that our kids couldn’t sleep in that room at all. We contacted the host right away, explained the situation, and let them know we would not be staying because the conditions were not acceptable. Despite notifying the host immediately upon arrival and leaving without using the property, we were not refunded. We booked this home expecting a clean, comfortable place to stay, but instead had to find last-minute accommodations for our family. Between the strong odor, the bugs we encountered, and the lack of a reasonable resolution from the host, this experience was extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this property.”

“BED BUGS!!!!! I was bitten over 200 times. Severe infestation. the Host was not Kate but others from the office. I sent pictures of the bed bugs that I caught in my bed and other pics of my bites. Their response was nothing but an AI message. No direct contact by phone nor in person. You would think that a bed bug infestation would bring an immediate response. Nope, that did not happen. I had to keep contacting them through Airbnb message board. And all I was getting was nothing but the same AI response. Then, the host would not give a full refund since I had stayed 2 nights. I didn't know I was bed bug bitten the first night, The second night I reported my bites at 4 am. after figuring out it was truly a BED BUG ATTACK. No empathy and no experience in handling of a BED BUG infestation. They Cancelled my reservation, and could not relocate me to another property because I had contact with Bed BUGS. Audacity to not let me use the fishing badges for y remaining time. Worst Ever!!!!”
