“When bringing up Issues was difficult to admit problems, we had issues with hot water, no water during a planned outage that was addressed after reported, roaches all over kitchen, internet was HORRIBLE, couldn’t watch TV or use iPad or internet on phones, dishwasher was broken, and could not adjust air conditioning below 72 (thermostat had a locked out feature that wouldn’t allow to adjust), maintenance came in while we were gone and left unit unlocked, refused to give any compensation back in return, refused to admit issues… beautiful home and nice neighborhood, but for the money would not recommend with all the issues…”

“The place was nice; however, a significant amount of trash had been left behind, which caused an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the water in both the pool and shower contained a strong amount of bleach, which irritated our eyes.”

“The home itself was nice and the location was convenient, but there were several issues during our stay. The children’s room had an ongoing ant/insect problem from the first night through the remainder of the trip. We reported it immediately, and while pest control did come, the issue continued and the room ended up being unusable for my family. The Wi-Fi connection was also weak at times, and the hot water for showers did not last very long. Communication started off responsive, but follow-up became limited afterward. Airbnb support ultimately assisted with a partial refund. I appreciate the effort made, but I hope these issues are fully resolved for future guests.”

“The home was very nice, great location. Super close to Walmart and the onsite amenities were fun for the whole family. The coffee pot was broken upon our arrival, I did reach out and the issue was never addressed. We also did not receive everything listed in the “starter pack” as described. Additionally, with the dirty dishes left in the dishwasher from the previous stay we had to use 1 of the 3 dishwasher pods ment for our own use. Only one of the two trash bags listed in the “pack” were left for our 5 night stay. There were only 3 wash cloths in the entire home. Lastly, be prepared to buy everything you’ll need. No salt and pepper or any spices. We did leave what we bought so hopefully the host will leave them for the following people and continue this practice. The reason I always choose air bnbs over hotels is because I enjoy the feeling of being in a home and being able to cook for my family while being away. Having to buy things that are a staple in most kitchens is inconvenient”

“The location was convenient and communication was responsive; however, there were significant issues with the master bedroom bed that impacted our stay. It was extremely unstable and unsafe to use. Maintenance did come the next evening but the fix left the bed sitting on the floor, which was not the standard we expected. We reported the issue right away and attempted to resolve it, but it wasn’t properly addressed during our stay. Overall, the experience did not match expectations.”
