“Fantastic house for our combined family trip. There were multiple master bedrooms including one on the main floor as the kitchen and entrance which was helpful with elderly parents in the group. Everything clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of room for 8 at the table. 10 minute drive to the beach although the local beach was rocks, not sand, not ideal for young children. The HOA space was great with a playground and piers you can jump off of (but had the rocky beach). Would stay again for sure.”

“Beautiful property with a Tahoe charming house. Great size home, large kitchen, living room and bedrooms. Peaceful front porch. We loved the location as it was close to both Kings Beach area and Tahoe City. We had a great stay and will be back!”

“Stayed with my Family for two days. Location is good, very close to Lake Tahoe, BUT it is ONLY the View. NO ACCESS to the Lake. You have to Drive to the Beach, which is very inconvinient. What's the Point renting the house very close to the Lake and not having the Access to it? Next time i would get something cheaper a little further From the Lake, well, i have to Drive anyways. The house itself very old, dark inside, have not seen any remodeling since it was build,outdated. Would i come back again? NO.”

“We had a great stay! The only issue we encountered was a poor internet connection (non-existent most days/times) . Both my husband and I needed to finish work in the evenings, so we had to rely on our hotspot to submit charts and (in my case) post grades. The TV was also affected by the lack of access to internet, but that wasn't as important to us. When we called about the internet issue, we didn't receive a prompt callback or solution. Despite this, our overall experience was wonderful, and the location was amazing!”

“The house itself was good overall and we enjoyed the space. It was comfortable and had what we needed for our stay. However, the shower head seemed very old — the water pressure was low and it sprayed everywhere instead of flowing properly. The towels also appeared quite worn and didn’t feel very clean, which could definitely be improved. The most disappointing part was the communication before arrival. There had been a winter storm the day before our reservation and many roads were closed due to snow. We reached out to ask if we could postpone for safety reasons — we were not asking for a refund, just a change of dates. The host was dismissive and kept saying the forecast showed clear weather, which didn’t address unsafe road conditions. A little flexibility and empathy during unusual circumstances would have gone a long way and made the experience much more positive.”
