“We planned a family vacation for our son, two daughters, their spouses and our grandkids. We have a 10, and 8 year old, and two toddlers. The house was great, but the fact that we only had two dishwashing pods and two laundry pods was not sufficient! We also only got one roll of paper towels! I asked the property mgmt company, FunVacay, for additional cleaning products and they said they couldn’t provide any more. We had a family of 12 staying at the house for 5 days! I thought this was really ridiculous that they couldn’t provide us with additional cleaning supplies. So if you use this property management company, FunVacay, be aware of the insufficient amount of supplies. Also, they didn’t allow checkout after 10am, even though our flights were later in the afternoon. We are owners of rental properties and we always have sufficient supplies and also allow tenants to checkin early or checkout later if they ask. The house was great, but the lack of supplies was really disappointing.”

“The property has a great location, and a nice layout, but unfortunately it doesn't match the condition portrayed in the listing. There were stains on the lower-level carpet, cup rings/stains and sticky areas on the kitchen table and counters, and bathroom doors that would not properly latch or lock. We encountered four cockroaches and numerous centipedes, including around the pool. The pool and patio had significant debris and insects, so we spent vacation time cleaning them ourselves. Maintenance and a pool technician were sent, but the issues were not fully resolved. The home remained around 75–77°The biggest concern was the pool: it was extremely warm, we noticed green residue on our bodies, and the technician found zero chlorine and low pH. After the water became cloudy, and we no longer used it.We also noticed exterior cameras that were not clearly disclosed in the listing and found packaging for a babymonitor camera inside, which raised privacy concerns.”

“The house itself was beautiful, spacious, and had many of the features we were looking for. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing because the elevator inside the home was out of order during our stay. The elevator was one of the main reasons we specifically chose this property, as we were traveling with my 86- and 87 yr-old in-laws (with Cane). Having accessibility within the home was extremely important to us, and we would have made a different booking had we known the elevator was not working. We feel guests should be informed as soon as possible so they can make an informed decision. What was most frustrating was that we were not informed about the elevator being out of order before booking or even prior to check-in. Once we brought our concerns to the host, we communicated how much of an impact this had on our family and our stay. Unfortunately, I did not feel that our concerns were met with the level of sincerity, understanding, or ownership that we expected.”

“Had cardboard on sliding glass door letting heat in master bedroom and had a standing ac unit beside bed and the unit was very loud making it hard to sleep. Ceiling was stained and had a moldy smell”

“The house is very beautiful. It was very clean and just a short drive away from the beach. I appreciated the golf cart and the beach toys they provided. They don't provide beach towels ...bring your own! The beds were also comfortable. For the price you pay for a week stay and renting the house for up to ten people you'd think you get more than one roll of toilet paper In each bathroom. Be prepared to buy every single seasoning you need if you're planning on cooking anything in the house...even salt and pepper. We had to buy paper towels, napkins, sugar, salt, pepper, dish soap, laundry detergent... We've stayed in several Airbnb's and I've never had such cheap hosts. Three sugar packets & two garbage bags for guests for an entire week is cheap! Also, the bunk bed room are on the main floor next to the front door and garage. My teen felt tight on the bunk bed. This house is not kid friendly for little kids or elderly with bad knees. There are stairs to go up to each floor.”

“Great location! But lack of communication on having all the amenities after numerous calls and text messages. We recieved an answer for golf cart availability which would be 1 day before our departure and it was still a no show. Recommend notifying the guest upon arrival to plan accordingly.”

“We were so excited to book this house for our family trip. Unfortunately we were mistaken. The golf cart was presented as ready to go, no mention of charging, no charger provided. It died 2+ miles out with our 3 and 5 year old in the Florida heat. The host’s response was indifferent, never once apologized. We had to walk back with the kids. We found nicotine pouches under the bed. With young children that’s a safety issue, not a housekeeping footnote. No high locks on exterior doors either. Beach chairs were all broken. Hot water ran out after two showers daily in a 5-bedroom home. WiFi couldn’t support basic streaming or even sending pictures back home. Housekeeping walked in without knocking before checkout. This property is not ready for families with young children. There’s a version of this property that would be great for families…this wasn’t it.”

“Unfortunately, I had a horrible stay. There was construction going on 200 feet from the apartment which was constantly making noise. I saw roaches at least every three days while I was there. The furniture was old and worn. The oven was not workable. When I turn it on, it’s smoked. Funvacay, was not helpful with fixing anything at all. I called about the oven. They said all they could do is clean it again. The maintenance man asked why do I even need an oven most people go out to eat. I’m very sorry to say I can’t say anything positive about my stay.”

“Before arrival, the host required us to sign an additional external agreement that was not disclosed on the listing. Communication leading up to the trip was frustrating, with repeated requests for information and multiple calls/messages despite asking to keep communication within Airbnb. Within hours of check-in, we found multiple cockroaches across different areas of the home. We reported the issue immediately, but communication during the stay was slow and inconsistent. Pest control efforts were ineffective, and additional cockroaches appeared even after the property was sprayed. Most concerning, the spray used was not safe for children, pets, or pregnancy, forcing us to leave the property temporarily. The host did not offer meaningful resolution or compensation. Airbnb Support ultimately stepped in afterward. The location was beautiful, but the property felt more worn and less updated in person than the listing photos suggested.”
