“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home! It’s gorgeous and matches the description very well. Overall, it was a great place for a family vacation. We did have a few concerns with cleanliness. Toward the end of our stay a few of our guests became sick, and we later noticed mold in some of the vents and on the back side of a few bedroom pillows. I don’t believe this was the host’s fault, it seems like something housekeeping should have noticed and reported so it could be addressed by maintenance. The host was fairly slow to respond, and the messages seemed automated or AI-generated, although that seems to be becoming more common. The beach was very private and there were good restaurants nearby. If you’re looking for nightlife, bars, or a lot of activities, just keep in mind that most of those are a bit of a drive. Overall, it’s a beautiful home for a relaxing family beach vacation. With a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, it would be an excellent stay.”

“This is a really nice property in a really nice location. Very spacious with great outdoor space. Unfortunately it is not well maintained.”

“An ok stay. Dirty furniture, the house desperately needs maintenance, everything is rusty (including beach chairs/wagon-making them barely useable). Dryer didn’t work; reported it, but it was not fixed- not sure if maintenance showed up like we requested. Unusually late (5pm) check in time and a fee of about $90 per hour if you want to get in earlier. Door handle on bathroom didn’t work. It is a peaceful location, close to beach, close to pool- that was nice.”

“The location was great; however, I would not book with this vacation rental company again. A 5:00 p.m. check-in time is unusually late. We requested an earlier check-in and were accommodated at 4:00 p.m., which we appreciated. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the house did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was sand throughout the home and in multiple rooms, and it was clear the floors had not been thoroughly vacuumed before our stay. This was also the first Airbnb we have stayed in that offered essentially no additional amenities such as games, books, or entertainment. The beach equipment was especially disappointing. We found a dirty diaper in one of the beach chairs, and another chair was filled with cigarette butts. In our experience, other vacation rentals have included small touches such as basic spices, cooking oil, games, and other amenities that make the property feel welcoming and comfortable. Unfortunately, this property did not provide that same experience.”

“Beautiful home,  but lacking some amenities, and misleading fees. Listing states $200 pet fee, but just before arrival, host said pet fee is $450 ($200 PER dog + fees, and billed separately from AirBnB). Home is 2 blocks to the beach/ocean,  but no beach towels or chairs. We sent a message to the property manager to ask and never received a response. (Beach house with a pool, but no towels!) We had to use the white bath towels and wash daily to reuse for pool,  beach & showering. No laundry detergent, so we had to buy that, along with dish soap,  paper towel,  toilet paper, and all shower items. (No shampoo or conditioner). Each bathroom had 1 roll of TP. The kitchen had a coffee maker, cooking/baking items (pots & pans) but no coffee, cooking spray, food storage containers, foil, saran wrap or baggies for leftovers. When paying $3K for 4 nights we expect necessities will be provided. We always leave 5* reviews, but can't this time :( Home is very nice, just lacking 5* amenities.”

“The whole stay was great. The place is slightly further from the beach than what I gathered from the pictures but overall great experience. After we checked out, they attempted to charge us almost $500 for animals that were disclosed in my guest list. Once we made the reservation, no one asked me anything about the animals that we were bringing. But somehow it is my fault and now have to pay almost $500 after staying in Florida for a whole week and spending thousands of dollars on the place in the first place. We will never be doing business with this company again. If you can’t ask for the information you need at the beginning of booking, it is not my problem. They’re only out for your money so keep in mind when booking.”

“i will lay facts bare and let them speak for themself: -you are allotted one (1) 1-ply toilet paper roll per bathroom. -BYO beach towels (at a beach house). -not enough blankets provided for the listed sleeping accommodations. most of the blankets provided are incredibly thin. -we paid $150 to check in two hours early at 3pm. we did not receive our check in instructions until a few minutes AFTER 3pm. -no trash bags provided for main trash (but you are expected to take trash out to the curb).”

“The house was nice but we had issues with oven didn’t work. They sent a maintenance man over but he knew nothing about the stove so they sent an appliance guy over. He was able to get the oven on and left. The next morning oven would not work, we called again two days later they had a different appliance guy over he determined that it needed to replace a part that he had to order two weeks out. They sent two counter top ovens Thursday evening but we never used. That night the carbon monoxide alarm went off had to get fire department they shut the gas off, no hot water for 21 people until the next day. They tried to make it right but I think they could have done better.”

“Beautiful views and quiet. Loved how you could walk out from the balcony to the beach access. The rugs needed to be cleaned as they smelled. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay.”

“The description could use an update. The bedroom and bathroom that was on ground level couldn’t be used due to the heat. The bathroom had no ac and was unbearable. The bedroom has an odor. No one was able to use these rooms. The next level shared a bathroom with 2 bedrooms & main living area. The top level bathroom was connected to the master bedroom & shared with 2 bedrooms. Pool was not cleaned. Some of the electrical outlets didn’t work. One bedroom had a tv but couldn’t be used because there was no way to plus it in. The cord wasn’t long enough to reach the outlet. Refrigerator did not cool very well. For this unit to be described as an updated unit, it was not up to par. Property management needs to do a better job at maintaining the unit.”
