Experience Vacation Rentals
4.43Visit website
Experience Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.43 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“I would not recommend anyone! The deck was unsafe and covered with code enforcement stop-work notices due to permits not being obtained. There was no warning provided prior to arrival regarding the deck’s condition. The deck was not blocked off, secured, or marked with caution tape when we arrived, despite the obvious safety hazard. We were traveling with three children, and our children attempted to access the deck before we became aware of the danger. We contacted your company multiple times seeking assistance and resolution but did not receive an adequate response. The property advertised a pool, which does not exist. The air conditioning did not work and the oven needed maintenance which we had to have them come fix as well as the a/c. These issues constitute false advertising and the failure to disclose a significant safety concern and also against many policies in Airbnb documents and contract’s. They did not communicate and it was pulling teeth for answers.”airbnb

“Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely stay again! The space looked exactly like the pictures! It was in a very walkable location! The pool was listed as heated but it either wasn't on or is not heated. While Experience Vacation Rental was rather good at the timing for answering questions, they told me that they would have to reach out to their team for an answer and never got back to me.”airbnb

“Only 1 parking space for 2 family condo. There were other places to park nearby but this information was not shared, found out from other guests. Also had a cockroach in the unit, no assistance offered”airbnb

“This was just an awful experience. The unit is run down and unkempt. Bed gross. Carpet dirty. Clutter. Not maintained. No hair dryer as listed. No key to dead bolt. Door lock broke Sat night and they sent handyman at 11pm to replace it. Didn’t ask. Just told. All responses from rental agency were AI generated and inappropriate. Horrid all the way around. We filed a request for refund. This unit should not be rented.”airbnb

“Airbnb was okay. Neighbors trashed the shared yard with blunts and condom wrappers, great to have kiddos around. Missing smoke detector, exposed wires. Welcome binder has not been updated since 2023. They had the tv’s locked with their personal amazon codes so those were un-usable in one bedroom. Host put us in a very uncomfortable situation with the neighbors when they did not appropriately address concerns throughout the shared property. Will stick to airbnbs not run by realtor companies, they are not it.”airbnb

“We were excited for our first family trip together, including two children and two infants. The home matched the photos and description, but we quickly noticed cleanliness issues, including bedding left in the washer with a strong odor, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and used toothbrushes in the master bathroom. Around 1:30 a.m. on our first night, we found five bedbugs in the master suite and immediately contacted the host and Airbnb. Several members of our group spent the night checking rooms, washing belongings, and taking precautions. The next morning, pest control confirmed bedbug activity. While the host communicated with us, no alternative accommodations or solutions were offered. Airbnb customer service was the most helpful in resolving the situation and ultimately refunded about 90% of our stay. Due to the confirmed bedbugs and overall experience, we ended our planned 3-night, 4-day trip after the first night and returned home.”airbnb

“The host blatantly lied about the amenities in the room. I specifically booked the room for queen beds as I don't fit in full sized beds. Walked in to 2 full beds instead of queen beds. When I tried to reach out, they texted me back with a bot and refused to call me. We cancelled our stay through Airbnb customer support and immediately left.”airbnb

“This was a mixed experience. The house was exactly as described and very clean. We appreciated that and the location. I paid extra for an early check-in so I could access the WiFi for meetings, but the WiFi info I was sent didn’t work, so I still had to scramble to find a coffee shop to work from. NOT ideal. It took until the next day to fix the Wifi — the network was different than the one listed. The dishwasher stopped working Saturday afternoon, and was fixed by Sunday night. The dryer didn’t really work the entire time we were there, no matter what setting we used, it took at least 5 long runs to dry a load. Communications were mostly prompt, but it was super annoying to get the auto bot messages “How’s your stay going? Let us know if you need anything.” In the middle of communicating about things not working and waiting to hear back with real info. We spent a lot of our vacation time communicating about what wasn’t working and waiting for them to fix things.”airbnb

“This is close to the beach and boardwalk. We stayed here for a basketball tournament at the Wildwood Convention Center, also close so we loved that! The pool was pretty clean. My one complaint would be the parking situation. We parked in spot 111 and it was right beside a pole. The car on the other side of our spot was extremely close to the line which forced us to not be able to pull into the spot fully. When I brought it to their attention I was told I would have to find street parking.”airbnb
