We had a wonderful time on our vacation. The property was beautiful and very clean. The additional cost for linens seemed excessive when the sheets and pillow cases were obviously heavily used and not of great quality. We also opted for late checkout which was another additional fee. However that was not communicated to the linen company who showed up to pick up the linens while we were still in the property. Also an inspector stopped by to check some things and my daughter was unaware a stranger was in the house when exiting the bathroom. The microwave also did not work. They offered to have someone come look at it but we declined. My overall review is the property is very much about maximizing their profit and using all angles to make additional money.

There was a fair amount of repairs needed to the home. One bathroom door did not have a lock, one showerhead had been ripped out of the wall and replaced without the hole being patched, some sketchy wiring that seemed to be done by a friend and not a professional. There were random items that we found that were left behind by previous guests, like bedding and a football. It did not make the home feel like it was cleaned well between guest. The best thing about it was that it fit our 12 people. There was a restaurant one minute walking distance. And a grocery store just beyond that. The beach was a quick car ride. The house did not have any parking but the grocery store parking lot was available overnight.

Great location… inflexible property management company and only AC unit is in bedroom which does not adequately cool entire condo. Not a bad place for a quick impromptu weekend stay.

This dump is pure motel trash with scratchy, threadbare towels and sheets that feel like sandpaper left over from a construction site. The carpet inside was so disgusting it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the Reagan administration—stained, sticky, and reeking. The only thing this dump has going for it is being near the beach, and even that isn’t worth the nightmare. The second you pull up and clock the sketchy crowd hanging around, you realize there’s zero redeeming quality here. Want to use the washer and dryer? You’ve got to download some sketchy app that’s notorious for vacuuming up all your personal data. Absolutely not somewhere you’d ever bring kids—there are shady characters prowling the property at all hours. I actually considered bringing my family until I got completely conned by the “condo rental” label. Don’t fall for it. You’re better off in an actual cheap motel, because at least then you’d know what kind of misery you’re signing up for. This place is worse.

Would give this zero stars if I could!! Do NOT book through Experience Vacation Rentals. My wife, daughter, and I booked a 3-night stay at their Malibu property through Airbnb, and the listing was completely misleading. It advertised a queen bed, but we got a full-size bed that was rock hard. My husband had to sleep on a broken, sagging couch. The blinds were broken, the room wasn’t clean, and we were charged $25 per day for parking instead of the advertised $25 for the entire stay. Maintenance even confirmed the bed wasn’t a queen, yet the company did nothing to fix the situation. Danny and CJ repeatedly said they’d “talk to the team” but never followed up. After wasting our vacation arguing with them, they offered only a $200 refund. We ended up leaving early and paying for another hotel out of pocket. We work hard all year for a vacation, and this company completely ruined it. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else.
