Manager Review

Everyday Luxury

Everyday Luxury's guest rating of 4.68 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Long story short, save your money and camp. Long story long.. They need to fix the front door motion BRIGHT light. It turned on for bugs and cars driving by. Would be off for about 15 seconds then blasted in the spotlight again. And the icing on the cake was when I left at 1am, due to not sleeping because of the damn thing, it didn’t even turn on! And I needed to use my phone light to lock the door lol. Previous poor reviews also accurate to my experience.

I really liked this Airbnb! I think the concept is wonderful and they couldn’t have chosen a better location for travelers. There’s a great coffee shop down the street I highly recommend. I’m giving 4 stars only because a 10am check out, in my opinion, is tacky. Everything was comfortable but still seemed cheap and thoughtless. If they renovated the space and hired an interior designer I would willingly pay double for a better experience. My rate was discounted at about $100, but it’s not worth anything more.

Our stay was great in general but few things were missing/ couldn’t find some items needed! When called twice and asked for help, no none called back or contacted us about my questions! It would be great to leave more detailed instructions for where we can find items needed in the welcome book!

We took our two grandsons in May 2026, and had also stayed at this home two years ago. What I thought needed some touchup and minor repairs had still not been done. My biggest complaint were the beds. They are worn out and very uncomfortable. The basketball goal was crooked, the grounds were not well kept but the boys had a wonderful time in the game room and the swimming pool. It is a great family house for a large group.

This host is scamming people, I am not sure why AIRBNB has not blacklisted them. ( My incident is opened with AIRBNB and I have asked for what actions have they taken)They cancelled my reservation just when I was about to check in. They cited reasons as they thought reservation is for next year. They tried to sell me travel insurance from 3rd party link. Kept asking my personal email and cell number to communicate. I asked to communicate strictly on Airbnb link.NEVER BOOK WITH THIS HOST!! Trying to look for alternate place I understood the dates I had booked was completely sold out in all hotels within 50 miles , not sure if that was part of reason of mismanagement at their end.

Even though I already paid the animal fee through Airbnb, the owner still created a separate private payment link and kept asking me for extra money. They repeatedly questioned me about my dog’s age, weight, and breed in excessive detail. After I answered everything and completed the payment, I even received a confirmation email from Airbnb. However, despite that, the host continued giving uncertain answers and said the reservation still needed approval only 5 days before the trip, which created unnecessary stress and uncertainty. They also suddenly claimed that only dogs over 2 years old were allowed, even though this condition was never stated on the Airbnb listing. It felt like they kept making up additional rules and constantly bothered us throughout the process. On top of that, the property was located directly next to the road, making it extremely noisy to the point that it was difficult to sleep. There were also bugs inside the house, so the cleanliness and hygiene were far from

The host was understandably busy because it was graduation week, and provide the checkin code to another group before our stay was up

We enjoyed the backyard. It was very private. The pool lights did not work, which I would have liked to know about for swimming at night. The pool has a very dangerous overhang for kids and cuts into a lot of the pool. Overall, the house needs a major deep clean and several interior fixes. It was gross in several spots, stained pillows, disgusting toilet cleaners in bathroom. Screen was broken on patio door, Roman shade came off the wall.

We arrived with the air conditioning not working. It took 3 calls over 24 hours to finally get someone out. They could not fix it and put a portable AC in the bedroom. The ceiling fan in our bedroom also did not work. There was a heat advisory during our stay and we had no AC for 24 hours and only a portable AC in the bedroom for the remainder. Trying to get compensation back for this was extremely difficult. We ended up getting 1 night for free which does seem adequate for what we dealt with. Other than that the place was as pictured and the view is excellent.
