Compass Furnished Apartments's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Great location. Walkable to many restaurants, shopping and the subway station. Great views from the unit and top floor. Amenities in the kitchen were sparse. It needs a smaller knife and more kitchen towels. The unit was clean. We enjoyed our time in this unit.”airbnb

“Our stay at Adams place was just as expected. Apartment was in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops to walk to . The T station was next door, and though you sometimes heard the trains, it was worth it to be so close. The only problem we had, was not enough plates, glasses, coffee cups. We had 5 family members and there were only 4 plates/ cups and only 1 glass.”airbnb

“Bare bones condo. Not great for families. Inconvenient location.”airbnb

“The apartment is in a very convenient location and everything was good. However, I left my belongings when I checked out the apartment, and the way the host dealt with the situation was not satisfying . He didn’t respond to me when he committed that he will check it again the day after the check out. It’s my fault in the end of the day, but I’m frustrated that I didn’t find my things (cleaning staff claimed that they didn’t see it) and there was lack of communication.”airbnb

“The place was very conveniently placed in the middle of shopping and restaurant zone. The toilet handle was defective. The stove was very run down and had many scuff marks. For something this pricey, I expected a pristine place.”airbnb

“Adam’s place was as described. The apartment was in a large building near the theater district/chinatown. We walked everywhere and felt safe. Apartment is fairly barebones with limited glasses, plates, bowls, etc. apartment building is new and clean. Check in process was a bit of a hassle having to call an associate prior to arrival to arrange picking up the keys directly. No “chores” to do upon checkout. Wi-Fi was very fast! I would stay again”airbnb

“Overall, this stay was very disappointing. The apartment is directly next to the Orange Line T stop, and trains running late into the night and early morning woke us up frequently. This level of noise was not clearly disclosed before booking. The third “bedroom” was not an actual bedroom—it was a bed placed in a closet-like space with no proper doors or privacy. Cleanliness was a major issue. The couch had visible, suspicious stains, making it unusable, so we covered it with sheets for the entire stay. When we raised this, the only solution offered was to send someone to clean it during our stay, which felt unacceptable given the cleaning fee charged. The bedroom storage areas were greasy and unusable. Pillows provided had visible stains, raising hygiene concerns. The cutting board in the kitchen also had visible mold, making it unusable. Overall, the listing was misleading in both comfort and cleanliness.”airbnb

“The apartment was perfectly clean with nice views but so noisy. I didn't sleep well for 3 nights. The AC unit sounds like an 18-wheel truck every time it went on in the middle of the night. It was so bad in both bedrooms! In addition, the apt is on 11th floor and you can hear the music from night club below and people walking on street. Noisy all night along plus construction or street cleaning at 5am. It wasn't quiet until @ 6am.”airbnb

“Overall the apt was clean, convenient, centrally located & enjoyable to stay in for 3 adults for 5 days. Communication w/ the owner was problematic throughout, became confrontational & ruined my stay. My family had a medical emergency & I needed an apt in Central Boston immediately. I found an identical apt which was less expensive which I booked & my credit card charged. Frightningly, the automatic response said it could take 24 hrs. Then I learned the apt I paid for wasn't available, BUT an alternative more expensive apt was. We negotiated a mid point price to allow me to move in. I had to track down his housekeeper who doesn't speak English while I was double parked. I assumed parking was included in the hi rise but no details about parking options were given prior. We moved in then I received a threatening (to involve Airbnb) if I didn't pay 250$ parking. I told him I will leave at 10am. I was harassed to return the card. I then received an eviction notice from the apt manage”airbnb
