“My biggest concern is on this app we rent places to stay based on the pictures. As soon as I opened the door it was clearly visible that this was not the same place from the furniture to the layout of the apartment. This was false advertising. I went back to check and see if maybe I missed something in the description I’m still not sure where I went wrong. Now besides that it wasn’t horrible I enjoyed the stay it had everything that we needed and could ask for. It was in close proximity to the White House the African American Museum and many more national treasures. So for that I would still give them a 7/10. Just be up from with ppl there spending there hard earn money”

“My experience was disappointing. There was a hidden parking fee that was not clearly disclosed in the house rules, and I was required to provide a card for the fee, which I did not appreciate. Communication was also very poor. It was obvious that I was communicating with an AI system that often did not answer my questions or address my concerns. I requested a pressing iron for two days and called all the numbers provided, but could barely reach anyone. When I finally did, I was told it would be delivered the next day when I check out. The apartment is essentially an empty space in a residential building with very few basic amenities. Even simple things like a place to put your toothbrush or a shower tray for your washcloth and toiletries were missing. For the price, I expected a much more comfortable, well-equipped, and transparent experience. I would not stay here again.”

“Pros: Perfect location near tech hubs and great food options. The pool and hot tub were large, clean, uncrowded, and great for kids. Cons: Check-in: Never received my DOOR app invite despite messaging ahead. Spent 20 minutes on the phone with support at SFO after flying in. Also app directions need clarity. Parking: Tight spot wedged between a gate and column requiring multi-point turns every time. Cleanliness: Modern unit, but missed details: dusty TV stand, dirty AC vents, and soap-splattered master bath mirror/faucet. Value: As an experienced Airbnb guest, I felt the supply of basic essentials was lacking for a 6-night family stay. Having only one tiny bar of bath soap for two bathrooms, zero hand soap, one packet of laundry detergent, and a single roll of paper towels felt surprisingly stingy for what we paid. A few simple fixes—better cleaning, smoother check-in, and stocking basic essentials—would make a huge difference. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations for the price.”

“We loved the building and the location. My only issues were check in nobody answered the doorbell for over 10 minutes so we had to wait outside to get keys in the rain. The building is beautiful and has plenty to do but the key fob situation is a mess. They did not explain that you have to lock the door with the fob each time. We left multiple times before realizing each time we had the door had NOT locked and our things were inside the room. Then upon realizing that we still struggled getting the fob to lock the door. The parking is very confusing with nobody to help explain it besides messaging the host but it was very hectic and nobody explained that the parking garage connects to the building. We learned that after walking around the exterior of the building multiple times. Lastly we found hair on the sheets and walls so it was not cleaned very well prior to our stay. I say these things with hopes of changes but we LOVED the location and will definitely visit Reston again.”

“Unfortunately, my stay at this Airbnb was not a good experience. When we arrived, the unit did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was hair in the sheets and blood on the covers, which was extremely concerning and unacceptable, especially when paying to stay somewhere that should be clean and sanitary. The air conditioning in the back bedroom also did not work, making that room very uncomfortable to sleep in. What made the experience even more disappointing was how the issue was handled. Churchill did not respond appropriately to the concerns we brought to their attention, and I felt that our complaints were not taken seriously. Overall, this was not the level of cleanliness, comfort, or customer service I expected from an Airbnb stay. I would not stay here again and would recommend that future guests be aware of these issues.”

“Early check in did not exists until 15mins. before regular check in. front desks clerks are rude, told us they had no luggage racks and would have to carry everything by hand ( temp outside was 100’ F) magically they appeared after we were done. The air conditioning unit for the back bedroom and bath did nothing to cool the area if anything it made it hot plus the loud noise it made until I turned it off. Finally after 24 hrs I received a fan for the back bedroom which all it did was push the hot air around. No seasoning for cooking and one set of towels, it had the bear minimum of everything. The bed was noisy and felt terrible. I would have been better off staying in a hotel for the price. Was looking forward to get into the pool but that didn’t exist except on the Airbnb page. Never right bad reviews but don’t want anyone else to put up with the experience we had. Better places out there to stay.”

“The pictures did not match the reservation at all . The response time is minimum 2days sometimes more . The cuttlery and crockery were in shocking condition which they after a few days replaced .Most lightbulbs did not work .Asked for linen and duve for sleeper couch and never received the duve but only received a small thin blanket .I have nerves experienced anything like this .Ignoring messages and refusing to answer some questions. I feel the checkout process is inadequate and all this could have been prevented if communication was better .Very disappointing to work with people who are unhappy to help .Ingrid”

“We messaged them repeatedly a few days before the check in date to push the arrival back by a day. They never responded, which I believe was a tactic to get to a date when the reservation was no longer refundable. So, we cancelled the reservation and then they claimed that there was a "payment issue" on our side. Very frustrating lack of communication on their part”

“While the Monte Carlo was beautiful, there was some issues with the AC that Churchill's team did not address or follow up on with me despite reach outs. No other issues to note, the space was clear and amazing views but communication was a bit of a challenge. Would absolutely stay at the monte carlo again.”

“There were several highly visible stains on the carpet in one bedroom, the carpet leading to the bathroom in the other bedroom was being held together with a strip of packing tape (nice touch in a luxury building), the toilet paper dispenser was falling off the side of the vanity in one bathroom, and there was literally no place to set a bar of soap in the showers other than the floor. Not a great experience, to say the least.”
