“This place was beautiful inside and exactly as expected. That was appreciated. Our only snafu was in communication and the thermostat schedule. I messaged prior to booking saying we may stay another night but started with two nights. After a couple days, I never got a reply. However, I saw it reserved on their availability calendar and when i asked about it, they confirmed it was now booked. Also, it was extremely humid out the days we were there and the hvac turned off. The house would get up to 81° F / 70% humidity. Additionally, without any fans in the home, it made the hours of about 6 pm to 9:40 pm almost unbearable. Not reasons to not book this spot, it was great for us with our two kids, but those issues were a bummer.”airbnb

“I would not recommend this Airbnb. My experience was very stressful and uncomfortable. During my stay, the host told me that my friend was not allowed to come visit me and that a car parked in front of the house was a problem. They warned me that if my friend did not leave, they would call the police and cancel my reservation. This made me feel embarrassed and unwelcome. I understand that hosts may have rules, but the way the situation was handled created unnecessary stress and made me feel uncomfortable throughout my stay. I expected a more respectful and welcoming experience. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others Very disappointing experience. The host made me feel unwelcome and threatened to call the police and cancel my reservation because a friend came to visit me and a car was parked outside. The situation was handled in a way that felt embarrassing and stressful. A vacation rental should provide comfort and peace of min”airbnb

“I tried booking this room, and didn’t see there was a 25+ requirement. I’m 23, so I contacted the host immediately after seeing that (a few minutes after trying to book) asking if that was okay and they didn’t respond til that night when I was sleeping. I had already moved on to searching for other places and instead of answering my question, which they continued to ignore, they took all $400 even though I didn’t stay there AND refused to refund me even partially claiming “the place was made ready.” 1) the place should stay ready from payments of past customers. 2) it doesn’t cost $400. 3) you’re a thief and totally stole from me. Worst host and Airbnb experience ever. I even had to cancel my entire trip turned out due to getting sick, which I contacted them about the age thing BEFORE I got sick, so no excuses. The issue was never my sickness, it was the age and lack of communication before accepting my payment. You shouldn’t have taken anything from me without confirming withe me.”airbnb

“I really wanted to like this place but it is nothing like the pictures, while staying we found and had to remove a total of five cockroaches. I brought this matter to the host the second night and she did ask if I wanted an exterminator to come by. I said no because obviously I am on vacation I should not have to deal with this. The outside of the home is not what is pictured in the photos. No cushions anywhere very poorly maintained. House itself is not well maintained at all. Doorknobs practically broken. Front door is not too secure. Shower water barely had any hot water. Just very poorly maintained. Once i mentioned this to the host they did offer a refund for my last night but was not what was listed as the nightly price on my receipts and they also took a 15.5% fee for whatever. I mean I dealt with cockroaches that is completely unacceptable!”airbnb

“Nicolette Refused to honor her cancellation policy of allowing a reservation to be changed. We paid her $1700 plus dollars and we ended up missing the Trip due to the Spirit Airline Shut down. The Cancellation policy stated no refunds but trip could be changed. When we attempted to change the date she refused saying it was too close to the trip. She basically Stole my money. I contacted Airbnb and they practically told me she refused to assist them as well! God forbid something happens, she’s the owner and she makes the rules but doesn’t follow them! Horrible especially when this was out of my control.”airbnb

“The property was as advertised and clean. Two issues: 1) We asked for an early check-in, if the unit was available and clean. We were informed the morning of arrival that the unit would be available for early check-in, but a fee per hour of early arrival would be needed. They blamed it on increased insurance. We own several rental properties in Florida and we do not have this issue. If this is true, they should change insurers. 2) The thermostat was set to not go below 70°. When we asked to have it lowered after the first night to at least 68° while sleeping, we were told that we should be able to handle this on the units thermostat. When I told them I have been attempting this with no success, their response was to try it again. After over 24 hours of back and forth, they finally removed the 70° block remotely and we were able to adjust it to 68° for our last night of our stay.”airbnb

“This was my first time in Miami and I was coming in for a surgery with a prestigious doctor. I did not expect to not have my trash removed everyday. We never received towels unless we begged hotel to come give us more. The room was never cleaned the whole time we were there. And we were charged a daily $50 guest fee on top of our room rate. Price was too excessive in my opinion.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, the description that shows the Airbnb website is completely wrong. Prices on the original website don’t match. Daily storage supposed to be $50 but I got charged $233. I called the hotel for some questions and answers. They send me my receipt and explain to me my charges , I was charged for unexpected things that was not shown on the Airbnb, daily storage fee is not $50. It is $100 per night plus taxes , and they charge me extra for “early check in “ when the Airbnb website advertise check-in is at 4 PM . I arrived at 5pm for my check in and was still for “early checkin”These hidden charges and misleading information is wrong.”airbnb
