“We Noticed immediately that the unit was not fully cleaned. Washcloths from the lasts guests were hanging on the clothesline in the shower. Candy wrappers, a cap from someone's deodorant on the floor. I was surprised that the shower curtain was not hanging up, it was because the shower bar was completely broken and dangling down. There was enough dust that we bought swiffer pads to clean. the kitchen had 1 butter knife, 2 forks and limited cooking supplies. It seems like the cleaning staff made the beds, dropped towels and left without looking at anything. They did send someone to install a new shower bar and that individual was very nice. The communication was interesting. Right after we got in I messaged about the cleanliness. Not only did they not respond to that, they sent a message stating "we hope you are having a 5 star stay!". I asked if they were actually reading the messages! I will say the view from this unit is Spectacular and you will enjoy an amazing sunrise!”

“Do not stay here. I highly recommend looking this company up beforehand and reading reviews before booking. I will say the room itself was nice, but there were stains on our sheets which was very off putting. Also, several amenities that were advertised were not actually included — there was no bathtub and no hot tub during our stay. The biggest issue was the constant communication from Julie about extending our stay, late checkout fees, and additional costs. It honestly felt like the focus was more on getting extra money than making sure guests were comfortable and enjoying their stay. Overall, very disappointing experience.”

“For this being my first Airbnb experience, it was extremely disappointing. The unit was not properly cleaned, we found hair in the bathroom, on showers, and multiple places on the floor, and dealt with bugs/ants during our stay, including on bedding and personal items. The washer/dryer also did not work, which was very inconvenient. Communication felt more focused on extra fees for early check-in/check-out than addressing the actual issues with the property. We also had no pool passes as advertised. She never asked me what was wrong, just asked for a review over and over. When I told her I was being nice by not leaving one as we had a bad stay, she said “Appreciate it”. The listing/photos did not match the cleanliness and quality we expected, the overall condition of the unit and handling of guest concerns did not justify the price paid. I would not stay here again. Like another person reviewed, our family also got sick and congested from being in this unit. STAY AWAY!! JUST TERRIBLE!”

“We were very disappointed with this stay, especially considering the price and the “Superhost” status. We booked this condo for a special one-night Mother’s Day celebration for our 78-year-old mother, and unfortunately it fell far short of expectations. The property looked nothing like the online photos. The ocean view was heavily obstructed by old, foggy sliding doors, the condo had a stale odor upon arrival, and basic cleanliness and maintenance seemed overlooked. The dining table was sticky and covered in crumbs, a living room lamp was broken and unusable, and the kitchen was poorly stocked with essentials. There were no paper towels and only one kitchen towel, and no coasters or basic conveniences you would expect at this price point. There were also multiple comfort issues during our stay. The A/C did not appear to be functioning properly, one of the beds had a large sinkhole in the mattress, and another bed appeared to have sheets that were not fresh. Texted host, but no response”

“Place was very spartan. Coffee maker but no coffee. No shower soap. Hole in door from previous tenant. This is actually one bedroom and bath carved out of another condo. Metal bunk beds; are you kidding me? The nearby Courtyard was less expensive.”

“Julie was was a great host, and this review WOULD be a 5 Star, however at the beginning she got off very inconsiderate. My family and I scheduled our stay May 2nd through May 7th, about a week before our trip, she offered me a price for another night of $66, I responded within 1 hour and told her I was interested, she explained she would redo the reservation and I would pay the difference, when the time comes, I owe $165, and I’m told “Things change”. As a host you are responsible for the words you chose, if you say a price verbally you should honer it. Just from this I probably would never do business with Julie and big fish rentals again.”
