Benchmark Management 30A
4.60Visit website
Benchmark Management 30A's guest rating of 4.60 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“There was no hand soap, stretch wrap, dishwasher detergent, kettle, or coffee pods or filters. And coffee machine wasn’t working. When we notified the host about this they didn’t do anything about it. The paper towels and toilet paper was only enough for two days but we were staying there for 2 weeks. So we had to spend extra money on things that the host should’ve provided. There was also nothing for the beach. Not even a beach umbrella or wagon for the 10 min walk to the beach. But overall the unit itself was clean and there was a washer and dryer.”airbnb

“Disappointing. Management did not provide parking registration link in advance, the address provided for travel did not accurately direct us when using Apple Maps. No direction was given to help us locate the particular unit. After all that we had to call management after our arrival - but their answer service is outsourced somewhere. Finally a link was sent after we talked to the gate attendant kindly granted us entry. No one at the outsourced answering service could help us find our unit. We ended up packing and unpacking again trying to find the right place. They skimp on laundry pods and dishwasher detergent and no filters for the coffee machine or salt pepper or sugar and when we mentioned this inconvenience were met with a “well that’s what you get with us,” however when the AC went out in the whole building the next night, we were expected to have patience and allow management in after 11 pm when 4 of us were asleep. You’re just a profit margin to this company. AVOID.”airbnb

“100% honest review. This place really needs to replace their bed. It is the loudest bed I’ve ever slept on. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you when you barely move it creaks. Do you wake up to use the bathroom? Prepare to wake up your sleeping partner. Do you toss & turn? Or just even adjust your pillow at night?? Prepare to wake up the person sleeping next to you on the bed or on the couch. The bed itself is comfy, it’s the base of it that makes the noise. AND IT’S A LOT OF NOISE. Also, what’s up with just 1 roll of toilet paper? You see the complaint in the book from just about every guest—so fix it already!! When you can see a problem is consistent/still happening & you aren’t doing anything about it… that just says you don’t give a sh*t!! You charge more than enough, so give the people what they want & put more toilet paper in. Not relating to this place, but this beach has hot, coarse sand & was not as clear & pretty as a lot of beaches around town. I wouldn’t stay here again.”airbnb

“The house itself is fine and I appreciate that each bedroom has a bathroom. I do wish that we would have had either more towels (they only provided one per guest) OR that there were more than two laundry pods provided. We also only had two dishwasher pods and two trash bags, which just simply isn’t enough for a large group staying for multiple days. The pool is completely shaded and we were planning to pay for it to be heated (as was advertised), however we were informed after checking in that heating the pool was only available during winter months (which was not advertised at all on Air B&B at the time of me writing this review). This was a huge let down as the pool was too cold to swim, especially with young children. The pool pump also was not running frequently enough so there were a large number of insects and other debris floating in the pool. There are also a TON of stairs both at the home and on the walk to the beach. It would not be possible for anyone with mobility issues.”airbnb

“I am writing a bad review because there were bugs in the unit. My son also ( 2 yrs old) found loose paraphernalia in the closet here. The host did not respond well. You dont speak to a real person it is an automated system. Also this property is not on the beach.”airbnb

“Had issues with the hvac for first 2.5 days and then service tech would just let themselves in without ringing doorbell or knocking. Good way to get hurt. Still wasn't working properly when we left. Went from not cooling at all to going down to 63 when set on 70. Hair on bathroom floors. dried food on kitchen surfaces. filthy ceiling fans. When a unit is set to sleep 8, it should also accommodate 8 in the living room or dining room seating. When people pay this amount of $ for a stay, the toilet paper should be of much better quality than commercial grade at a convenience store. Also, hunks of dried "I DON'T KNOW WHAT" on bedroom wall. I can send pics of various things that I made upon arrival. Thanks”airbnb

“We were disappointed as soon as we walked in. All the ac units were right outside our bedroom window. The shower was a dated whirlpool tub. Very dirty/ moldy and shower curtain was moldy. And it was tucked in a corner with washer and dryer. Very dated and dingy. The pool area was minimal. The grills were dated. Like grills in county parks 40 years ago. The kitchen and shower faucets needed repair. The dish washer was a danger as the door would swing shut while loading it. All the appliances are outdated. We used the vacuum and it had not been emptied in a long time. Big concern, it smelled moldy when AC was running. I wiped down the floors around the toilets but could not get urine smell gone. The walk out to the beach was one of the only things that saved us from packing up and leaving. Great location, but for the price we paid, we expected a little cleaner, up to date accomodations. We would never book there again. It was such a dissapointment after the photos seen online”airbnb

“DO NOT BOOK!! Major conditions were not disclosed. There is active construction directly next door with crews starting early each morning. The noise woke us daily and made the stay unbearable. We have proof of posted construction signage, directly contradicting the host’s claim of no prior knowledge. We were also confronted by the rude upstairs tenant about our dog despite it being approved and paid for beforehand. He has cameras pointed at the pool and beach access which raised serious privacy concerns. Upon arrival, the unit was not clean and lacked basic necessities—insufficient pillows, incomplete bedding, and even missing toilet paper. We paid $5,300 for a birthday trip and left early. When addressed with host about the numerous issues, an insulting, very small refund was offered. If you value your time, money, and experience - look elsewhere and DO NOT STAY HERE OR BOOK WITH BENCHMARK!”airbnb

“Pile of dead frogs by pool. upstairs bunk room had trash on floor, used zen nicotine type pouches on top bunk, no sheet on one of the beds and a disgusting stained pillow. Living room couches are pretty dirty and only seats 6 comfortably. Have never stayed at an airbnb where they only give you one trash bag, one towel per person, no pool towels, only 2 dishwasher pods and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. I texted and asked for more toilet paper and towels and trash bags. They said they would make an exception and brought some more, probably bc i sent them pictures of above items. I never rent if there is construction next door, there was construction of two new houses about 10 feet from property. This was not disclosed on description. Pictures show an empty lot. Workers on ladders right next to our pool and loud music playing while working. No privacy. Asked for pool to be heated way ahead of time not heated until 2 1/2 days into stay. Not worth high cost.”airbnb

“We recently stayed at this property for spring break during our fifth visit to 30A, and unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing experience we’ve had in the area. While the location itself is strong, nearly every other aspect of the stay fell short of expectations. Early on, we noticed fleas in the living room area, which was both uncomfortable and concerning. Shortly after, we experienced a power outage affecting the downstairs portion of the home, along with ongoing plumbing issues throughout our stay. Logistically, the experience was equally frustrating. We did not receive our parking permits in a timely manner, and despite reserving two parking spaces well in advance, only one was available upon arrival. When we raised this issue, management advised us to “find another spot” and requested photo evidence of our concerns, which felt dismissive and implied a lack of trust. As a result, both of our vehicles received citations during the stay. Access to the property was”airbnb
